My family member arrived at the ER, was seen and admitted within a few hours. Wonderful care! We loved all of our nurses! The medical team was also very thorough with the testing and did a great job.
Hello, I have been in and out of Drs appointments and the Er since November. My daughter brought me down to Davie ER, and I was seen right away. I was so impressed with the service!! The Dr, Nurse's and all the staff were very professional, kind, and caring. Even though I didn't get to the bottom of my illness, the Dr said he would talk to my Gi Dr about, getting some test ran. He really did that. I mean these people really care, and they actually talk to each other, and give you real answers. I wish all Emergency Departments could be like this one. I felt like I stepped back in time, you know like care was 20 years a go. I would give them a 10 if I could.
If i could give this place zero stars i would. I used to love how kind the staff was, but my last visit (which was for an accidental overdose) they treated me like i was nothing just because of my condition. One of the receptionists was openly talking bad about me which I overheard and when i confronted the staff, they all tried to lie and cover their backs and say she didnt work there and just simply didnt exist. They were acting like i was just a crazy lunatic who couldnt see and hear people. I have bruises from them throwing me on the floor and forcibly giving me medicine i did not want. They locked me in a room where i could hear the receptionist who “didnt work there” talking poorly about me again. When they finally transferred me, one of them said, get her out of here. It was truly an awful experience. They were mocking my pain and laughing at me. I will sue.
I see Dr. Margaret Gretchen and Dr. David Browning for my Macular Degeneration & Diabetic Retinopathy. They have handled both of my eye surgeries at Baptist Health Atrium and I recovered perfectly from both. The staff here care for you and treats you with respect. They are located in a building next to the Davie Medical Center. There are different types of doctors offices in the building. There is security on the 1st floor to guide you. The eye center is on the 3rd floor, as soon as you get off the elevator you turn right and there is a greeter who has a list of all appointments for the day. You then proceed to check in which is quick and have a seat. The waiting area is large with ample seating and three TVs with closed caption. It is very comfortable and welcoming with ample lighting and a view of the front of building. You are usually called very quickly and they stick to your appointment time. The doctors are very thorough and explain everything in detail. The care here is top notch. I do not play when it comes to my vision. If you are having serious issues with your eyes, this is the place to come for treatment and care.
I had a very pleasant experience at Davie medical. When I arrived I was seen right away with no waiting. The staff is very pleasant, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would recommend the Hospital.
