The new South location is beautiful. It was easier to get to the south Austin location than the north, in my opinion. The parking lot was much bigger. Once you were checked in by the one receptionists, you were lead to a huge waiting area that was spacious, and clean , and had a large TV with advice on eye care as well as Medicaid and Medicare. I saw 4-5 nurses calling people and getting their initial exams to make it easier for the eye doctor to see you quicker. However with that said, we arrived early at 9:30 for a 9:50am appointment and sat there til noon before a nurse came to get mom. It was 12:20 pm before she was called back to see the very trusted and kind Dr Wong. I asked mom can we go to the San Marcos location. Her response, "but they don't treat me nice there." So while we had to wait way to long it is worth the wait because my mom will be treated with kindness, respect and will be listened too. Great job Austin Retina South Austin location, Dr Wong and your staff.
