Please be careful when being seen here dr kurwa performed cataract surgery on my mother i should have checked the reviews before going here now my mothers eye is drooping and her vision is worser than before when I asked dr. Kurwa for an explanation he was visibly upset and claimed he needed to run more test which he did but never gave me an answer for why the surgery was a a total disaster and just deflected the questioned he also raised his voice at me when i was camly seeking answer's, he had the audacity to try and set my mother up for another procedure on her other eye as if the first surgery was a success. It felt like it wasnt about improving someones vision as it was more so how many procedures can i get out of the insurance.I feel violated and a great weight of guilt on my shoulders for bringing my mother here just to have her eye damaged. The young lady at the front desk along with the young guy come off as arrogant and will whisper remarks to each other infront of the patient and smirk in a disrespectful type of way. I have never experienced or seen such an unprofessional operation being ran.

The staff is the most unprofessional, incompetent group of people I’ve had the displeasure of dealing with. I constantly have to wait for 45 min + for a 5 minute appointment. Today I got a confirmation text that my mother’s appointment is at 1. We arrive at 1 to a locked door with a staff member sitting on the phone behind the desk. She yells from inside that they are closed till 1:30. I show her the text from that morning from their office confirming the 1 PM appointment, and she just shakes her head saying it was rescheduled. This office should not be allowed to stay open if it treats its patients with this much disrespect.

Bud Kurwa is a good Doctor, but the girls at the front desk need improvement. This is the reason for the one star. I had an appointment with Dr. Kuwa at the Duarte location this past Friday. After waiting 2 hours I herd the girl at the front desk tell some he was still in surgery. I went to talk to her. She suggested to reschedule. I wish she would have said something to me earlier. I rescheduled for Glendora after my experience at the Duarte office. I get to the Glendora office and the girl said my insurance didn't work. I told her my insurance has not change and they excepted it before. I don't think she knew what she was doing. She tried to tell me coverage changes each month. At the Duarte office they had no problem with the insurance. After my 2 negative experience with the front desk I won't be going back. I waisted too much of my time already.

The Dr. Is the best. The Staff at Glendora are the worst! Shame on you! I give below zero stars!

They have no respect for their appointment.
