I have been going to Bardstown Eye Care Center for the last 4 years and have been very satisfied with them. Dr Lisa Woody and her staff are highly competent, professional, and congenial. I have the upmost confidence in their practice and would recommend them to anyone looking for an eye care professional.

my husband waited over an hour to be seen, the glasses took a month to come in. overall he felt as if it was a sales office more then a eye doctor office when picking out his glasses. he asked them many times to wait for his wife to come and help pick them out, but they wouldnt take that and was pushy to add more addtional charges. so with our VSP we paid almost 400 out of pocket. Crazy! would not recommend this place for the wait time alone. He said Dr. Woody was great and she was very detailed and explained everything great.
Dr. Lisa is fantastic and has looked after me for over 10 years. Sadly her superb Customer Service skills are not the same as the front desk staff. If you call, it is likely your call will go to voicemail — and you won’t get a call back. When you go to the office, you get the feeling that you (the patient) are a bother to them so I dread having to deal with them. I recently changed to another eye care provider just to avoid dealing with the attitudes and frustration.
I've been coming here for a long time. I love the people and I feel they do a good job at my exam. Only reason for the 4 stars is that they are getting really expensive on the lens and frames. I always get the best of the best when it comes to my lenses and I get the silhouette frame which are top notch but their prices have almost double. I still recommend and if you buy your frames from them your allowed to refuse them when u get a new prescription. That way you don't have to buy a new pair every time.
Receptionist on the right side of the counter has the worst attitude, and no concept of good customer service!!! She seems to hate her job, very rude to certain clients!!!
