I’ve been coming to MyEyeDr. every single year, and I actually look forward to my appointments! The entire staff is wonderful, but Brenda Leis is absolute magic. She is incredibly helpful, patient, and makes the whole experience so much fun. The level of service here is unmatched, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommend!

From the front desk receptionist, the tech taking my children in to see about their eyes down to the doctor. These women are AMAZING, patient & caring ! First time here but we love it. Enjoyed our experience here.
Check your printed receipts! After cataract surgery I returned to this location to order new glasses. They took many images that were not needed for a new prescription and then tried to charge me $300 for those images. I'm 68 and live on a small monthly social security payment with no Medicare vision coverage. When I refused to pay $300 the employee said "ok I'll remove those charges since you didn't sign off on them". (1st red flag) When I selected the new frames, I paid the amount due without looking at the receipt. When I got home I realized the employee had added a $30 charge for an "Eyewear Protection Plan". This option was never discussed with me, she just added it to my bill even after I called her out on the $300 charge for images. (2nd red flag) I really thought I could trust this Optometrist. I had left a 5 star review after my first visit but due to their shady billing practices, that review is now deleted. I'll never return to this location and no one in my family will either. You would think they would learn that honesty pays off in the long run....
I went in for my annual exam and needed new contacts. The staff was very friendly, especially the initial technician who did some testing before I saw the doctor. The doctor told me I had the same prescription in both eyes and strongly encouraged me to try daily multifocal contacts. I was not used to them, nor did I want to try daily contacts. As I checked out, they asked me to pay $600 upfront for six months of contacts! That should have been a red flag. Most places offer samples to try before committing to a purchase. They gave me the first samples to try. They were terrible! I couldn’t see the signs on the freeway; I constantly had to adjust my eyes and contacts, and I was getting headaches. I returned the first samples, and they gave me a second trial. These were still daily contacts, even though I told them I preferred monthly ones. They didn’t listen. For the second trial, I noticed they gave me a box labeled L and another labeled R. I wondered why, if I had the same prescription, they marked them differently. Upon closer inspection, they were definitely different types. So again, they didn’t work, and I had to return them. Trial #3 involved contacts with the same prescription, but they were extremely drying, hard to wear, and made it difficult to see while active, especially when I was sweating. They also had a slight green tint that altered color perception—a problem since I need accurate color vision for my profession. By this point, I was very frustrated with the constant back-and-forth and the lack of a solution for contacts that actually worked for me. Eventually, I called and asked for what I wanted—monthly contacts, not dailies—and expressed concerns that my RX might be incorrect, which could have been part of the issue all along. When I explained all of this to the receptionist over the phone, she said she would speak to the doctor and call me back. The doctor wanted to see me again but also suggested I try two-week contacts instead of dailies, showing a lack of listening to my preferences again. At that point, I was done. I told them to reimburse me the $600 I paid upfront for contacts I couldn’t use. I would not recommend this eye doctor. They don’t listen to their clients’ concerns, and I also feel they may lack experience.
I love to get my eyes annual check up here with Dr. Pham. She is gentle and very knowledgeable, well explained in terms for me to understand. I feel comfortable and not rush as switching between lenses during the exam. Her technician, Lizzy is super friendly and caring as well. Look forward for yearly check up and possible getting new glasses frame 🤓.
