The professional excellence at Beach Eye Care extends to the entire staff. From the moment I arrived, the receptionists were welcoming, and the wait time was minimal. I was particularly impressed by Kailey, who was thorough and respectful while reviewing my history, ensuring Dr. Tang had a comprehensive understanding of my needs before he even entered the room. Additionally, Camille provided a calm and thoughtful presence during the examination, making me feel truly understood and valued. While there are many large eye centers in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, Beach Eye Care offers a superior experience where patients are treated with genuine respect and dedicated care. Thanks to the expertise of Dr. Tang and his wonderful team, I finally have an effective treatment plan in place and am already experiencing significant relief.

Troy had an appointment with Wendy to get new sunglasses. She did an amazing job selecting the perfect eye ware for his face. She’s so bubbly, patient, pays attention to detail and has great customer service. I tagged along with Troy and mentioned I probably should get my readers filled. Wendy took the time to find me a good fit for my face, worked with my budget with no judgment. She is awesome at her job. Thank you Wendy for paying attention to detail and providing us with excellent customer service!!
Wendy was absolutely wonderful. She took her time to assist my grandmother pick out the perfect frames to her liking. She showed her many options with valid feedback on each option stating how each pair would complement my grandmothers face. She answered all our questions and made sure we completely satisfied with our choices before concluding the transaction. Everyone else we interacted with at this location was just wonderful as well. We are so happy to have been referred to Beach Eye Care.
I had LASIK surgery with Dr. Neatrour when I was 28 years old. Next year will be 30 years from the original surgery. It was before LASIK was even FDA approved and is hands down one of the best things I ever did for myself. I never again had to struggle with contacts and although I did need a touch up after about 20 years with PRK to one eye and a few years ago had to start using reading glasses, to this day I can still drive without glasses even at night. Fair warning you will likely have some dry eye syndrome unless that has changed with improvement in surgical techniques but it’s not a deal breaker by far. I was still in the military actively drilling and received a generous military discount as well, I still remember paying $1,900 percent and it was worth every penny! I am now heading into my 31st year of nursing and can tell you I would still trust Dr. Neatrour to this day and I have seen some things in my time, It was a great experience all around. The whole thing took about 20 minutes and for the first time in my life I could see! It was so liberating! Life changing in fact! Long overdue review but it is never too late to say thank you!
My original cataract evaluation appointment had to be rescheduled due to Dr would not be in the office. I had to wait several months for this appointment. When the appointment was originally scheduled I asked how long the appointment was. Was told not long less than an hour. Arrived at my appointment, asked if the Dr. was running on time I was told yes but the technicians were behind. I had another appointment and told the scheduler I needed to be out by 11. Was taken back 10:25 and technician did her work. Told me to have a seat in the waiting room. Second technician came to get me at 10:45, made the comment I had to be out by 11. I was told she could complete her part but the Dr. would be in later than 11. I left for a second appointment without seeing the Dr. The resection it’s was quite rude when I said I had to leave. If anyone knows a good eye doctor that respects her clients please let me know.
