This family are angels! Saturday morning, my son had his first college game and called me at 8am upset because his contact lenses had torn. Without them, he can’t see — and he thought there was no way to get another pair since his were in Georgia. What he didn’t know is that I already had a ticket to come surprise him to the game💜 I called 8 different locations in Virginia trying to get a trial pair, but no one would/could help for various reasons. Finally, I found a small family eye specialist. The Dr answered and he told me they opened at 12, and I told her, “I’ll be there.”(I can’t remember his name) When I arrived, the gentleman told me he could sell me the contacts as long as I had the prescription — and I did! While we talked, I learned he was 91 years old, had been in that same location for 75 years, and still couldn’t let go because serving people was his passion. I was literally in tears talking to his family. It was a blessing to meet this family, hear their story, and walk into a building untouched for 75 years. 🙏 I rushed to the game, handed the contacts to my son’s teammate and when my son got them — the look on his face was priceless. Thank you all for serving the community God bless you Doc!

I have dealt with this guy for probably 30 some years now and not only is he honest and a skilled optical technician but he consistently charges less than half than some of his “competitors “. Great selection speedy service. What more could I want?
