Black Optical

I purchased Kuboraum Z24 eyewear from the Clayton location of Black Optical. They didn’t initially have the frame at the shop, but were able to get it from a different shop so I could try it on. I worked with Heather Layton, and she’s amazing. She assured me the Kuboram Z24 frame could accommodate my progressive prescription. She also recommended the perfect peach tint for my lenses. Definitely recommend stopping by Black Optical for exquisite eyewear and staff that take a true interest in your satisfaction.

I am so happy that I found this place. It is a huge step up from my last eye dr. As soon as I walked in I was impressed with how cute it is inside and how the front desk staff was attending to the customers. The front desk staff offered me a drink and were so nice. My appointment with Dr. Reeves exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly detailed and got me into a new brand of contacts that are working much better for me. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Had the opportunity to visit my first Black Optical and in St. Louis. It is a showroom curated with the finest and most artistic frames. I was assisted by Alina who brought knowledge and patience to all of my try on requests. Well versed not just in style, she is also a perfectionist when it comes to sizing and how the frames sit. I had my first eye exam here and it was the best experience I could've had! Dr. Reeves did my exam and she was very knowledgeable and walked me through every step. I ended up needing glasses, but I had never looked at any so another employee helped me try on different styles and colors to figure out what I liked. They were all very kind, helpful, and wonderful. I totally recommend to anyone needing glasses or an eye exam!

I visited Black Optical in Clayton, Missouri yesterday for help with a problem of a pair of Mykita frames. Black Optical is the only factory authorized dealer and service center in the St. Louis area. The facility exudes quality and is absolutely beautiful with a wide variety of premium frames one can find no where else in this area. I was warmly greeted by two associates, Alina and Heather, and, as a professional team, they were able to diagnose my problem very quickly and accurately. Alina immediately told me she would be taking this to the Mykita representative and that it could possibly even be a warranty issue. Nonetheless, I have complete confidence in Black Optical because of the obvious expertise of their employees Alina and Heather. As a longtime wearer of high quality eyewear, I can wholeheartedly endorse Black Optical and its excellent team of employees for any needs with regard to eyewear.
