Optical Expressions

I recently brought in frames I purchased outside of Optical Expressions in Clayton to have prescription lenses added. I understand that I signed a waiver, but unfortunately, the frames were melted during the process. This was my first and only experience with the office, so I can only speak to this service. Based on what happened, I recommend not bringing in frames purchased elsewhere and would only buy directly from their retailer. On a positive note, Nikki (Nicole) was very pleasant to work with throughout the process. Thankfully, the brand I purchased the frames from can handle the repair and add lenses at a lower cost. However, due to this experience, I will not be returning.

After one phone call, Steve, without hesitation, provided me with exactly what I needed and I was back in business in a matter of minutes. Customer service and a friendly smile are top notch here. If I lived in St. Louis, Optical Expressions would be my go-to for all my optical needs.

I’ve been here for multiple years for yearly exam and contacts ordering. I love this place and the people who work here. They are so knowledgeable and tell you about all the options, manufacturer rebates, etc. Whenever I came to pick up my contacts, they came out to meet me outside vs. having to worry about parking. Recently I’ve moved and had to look for different eye doc. I learned that their contact lens pricing beats the all other places I’ve looked up. Top notch customer service and best price!

Dr. Dowdy is the best! My boyfriend and my best friend have started going here too after hearing about my experience. I've never met an eye doctor who is so intellectually curious and passionate about their job before. Very thorough, very kind. And everyone else who works there is great too! I had a fun experience trying on frames with several different associates. I am now a loyal customer and l will continue to go here as long as I live in Missouri
