Went here a couple years ago and just went again today, I sadly forgot his name but the man who takes you back and works on your vision is absolutely amazing. He really does make you feel like you are getting your eyes tested in the comfort of your own home. 6 out of 5 stars
I had a wonderful experience at my first visit with Bluegrass Family Vision. Dr. Mayes walked me through everything, he made getting contacts a breeze and was very helpful with me following a budget. He was very detailed and patient with his work and made sure my prescription was perfect for me. The front desk staff was extremely kind and friendly, they do a fantastic job. I’m looking forward to my follow up!
My husband and I just were there and we're 10 minutes late because he had to wait to take lunch before he could get off for the doctor's appointment was made to wait an hour and still wasn't seen so Doctor could run errands to fed x horrible service
Thank you Dr. Mayes and your friendly staff for a great experience today! This was my first visit and is the most thorough an optometrist has ever been during an eye exam. Also, the receptionist was efficient at getting all my information entered in a timely manner, and very nice on the phone in setting up an appointment. Can't wait to get my new glasses in!
I had my eye exam on April 24th. The Optometrist was excellent and explained all aspects of the exam in terms I could understand. Then when I picked out the frames I liked the young man was very helpful assisting me with the selection. I was told I would have my frames in 7-10 days. I never heard anything from them so I called them on day 14, the receptionist was rude when I called and asked to speak with the guy who placed my order. After an extended length of time being placed on hold I hung up and made a second call asking to speak with the guy who placed my order again the receptionist being more rude than the first call I made did put me on hold and the guy that placed my order did answer. I inquired about my glasses he explained that when the place that made my lenses and placed them in the frame had broken them and again was told it my glasses would be in 4 days. It has now been 3 weeks and 4 days since my order was placed and still no glasses. At this point I am very frustrated with the front end of this business and would recommend the eye exam and then go to another business to order your glasses.
