Ive been using this office for years. I had an exam last year. I have finally been able to afford a set of my contacts and wanted to pick them up. I was told the trials that were ordered were sent back (understandable) and that I would have to purchase a whole set (yrs worth) to see if they work. I ordered them and paid the money reluctantly. Contacts came arrived in two weeks (slight delay from the 5-business days they told me it would take) and I picked them up. After wearing them for a day I noticed I cannot read anything out of my right eye. I called back to see if there was anything that could be done since this is the first time I’ve got them and my prescription is still valid. The office told me they could not do a “contact check” and instead I would need to schedule another exam and I’m assuming purchase another prescription. Optometrist is great but store policies are a bit ridiculous and not customer friendly. I’m sorry to say I may have to end this relationship. Sad really but I’m overly upset about this situation I feel completely taken advantage of.
