I was a patient here for 4 years but will not be returning. The location was convenient for me, but if I’m honest with myself, I’ve never truly received proper eye care here. My prescriptions prior to coming here have always been dialed in and it wasn’t until I started seeing the revolving door of docs at Broadway that I began to feel like I was having eyesight troubles beyond correction. A couple months ago I needed to see someone about altering my prescription again. I had been in 6 months prior for an exam but once again left feeling like my sight was off. Unfortunately, I’d ordered a year’s supply of contacts and a nice pair of glasses with that prescription. As luck would have it, after they last minute canceled the follow up appointment I had booked to alter my prescription, they booked me with their Bellevue office to get me in ASAP. OMG. The Bellevue office was night and day better. The doc there took the time necessary to dial in my prescription and got it just right. Both eyes needed a new prescription. I returned to the Broadway office with the new prescription and asked if they could replace the lenses in the glasses I had recently purchased using the bunk prescription with the corrected prescription - and they refused. So I am out $1,000 on glasses that are pretty much brand new and won’t work (never worked) for me. There was no empathy - just ‘sorry it’s not our policy’. My bad for not recognizing this place as the lense mill that it is. Hopefully my experience will help steer others away from making the same mistake by giving this shady place your business.

Its been a month and l haven't received my eyeglasses. It's very difficult to reach at them. Nobody answer the phone. The lab they work with isn't the best. I've been very patient, but is so frustrating that they're take so long just for a simple prescription. Do not recommend.
Had two interactions that stuck out, one with the receptionist and with Ken, the optician. Unsure of the receptionist's name but they had purple hair and were very kind while checking me in. Ken was also a hoot, super sweet, patient, and ended my visit on a great note. He even brought me water and was completely understanding when I decided on not getting any glasses after letting me very various frames. The optometrist's assistant seemed to just want to get out discussion over with, maybe he was just having a bad day. Additionally, very surprised that a clinic in Capitol Hill doesn't have an option to put down pronouns or preferred name. Not sure if I would come back but it was a decent experience overall.
I was initially disappointed because my insurance changed with my new job, and the closest optometrist available to me was in Capitol Hill, which can be a difficult neighborhood to navigate due to limited parking. That added some stress to my visit. However, I truly appreciated how patient and understanding the staff and doctor were, especially since I arrived a bit flustered from the parking situation. The gentleman who assisted me with selecting frames did an excellent job-he found a pair that worked for me within just a few tries. My glasses and contacts are a significant improvement over what I had before, and I’m very happy with the outcome.
Crappy business doing well in a high-demand in an area with low expectations. Lens popped out after a year and they would not fix. After a year of gluing it myself, it broke around the temple/arm from me snapping it into place. Do not recommend this shop. When I first went, the gentleman helping me buy insinuated I was poor for going with a plain pair. Ok. But you've been trying to upsell since I stepped in, so who's really desperate? Upon return, the front desk was condescending but theres a sign to leave a good review. Finally, it's impossible to get off their mailing/texting list. You don't take my insurance anymore so why are you still contacting me, AGAINST my permission? Stupid.
