I have been going here for years. They always take very good care of me. My recent visit to get new glasses was also very good. After I picked up my new glasses the next day I discovered an error in my glasses. Its human we all make mistakes sometimes. I called the next day and they were very nice and understanding and corrected the error quickly with a lens redo. They let me know as soon as the new lens were ready and I went in and they had the lens swapped in no time . They spent time to make sure it was all good . My glasses are perfect. The prescription was accurate the lens were accurate. I can see clearly. The staff are all excellent. The Dr's are all excellent. Thank you Broome Opticle for taking good care of me. I will be back.

I usually see Dr Hong and she’s amazing but when she was out of office I had to see Dr Karen Khan. The techs were both awesome and very friendly. From the moment Khan came into the room you could tell she didn’t want to be there. She was very short and impersonal. It’s just seemed that she was in a rush to get me out. I tried asking questions and so did my dad, yet she completely dismissed them. I was so disappointed and left frustrated with the way I was treated.
Broome optical really dropped the ball this time. I saw Dr Khan because I felt my vision had changed and I had some other concerns about my eyes. During the exam I told her about some supplements I was using. She gave me a 5-minute lecture on her views as to why supplements were dangerous and that nobody should use supplements without a doctor's express instructions to do so. After the tongue lashing she gave me over my use of supplements, I was not at all willing to ask about anything else that was concerning me about my eyes. She also said I had cataracts and I would be having to have them removed soon. Then she told me that if I got the cataracts removed I would be seeing 20/20 again in no time. I told her I have never seen 20/20 in that eye. She immediately backtracked and told me not to worry about the cataracts then. I got my glasses and they were horrible. I went back to Eyemart Express. They checked and immediately admitted the lenses had been made incorrectly. They corrected their mistake but I still could not see. Using the glasses was a strain on my eyes and it was a relief every time I took them off. I went back to Broom Optical to be rechecked. This time I asked for another doctor. I saw Dr O'Brien who examined me and agreed with the diagnosis of cataracts. She also coached me on what I needed to tell the ophthalmologist to get my cataracts taken care of. I was still struggling to see clearly and I called Broome again asking if they could possibly give me a prescription to have glasses made like my old ones. Dr O'Brien refused to give me a prescription like my old ones. I did not think to ask if she could give me a new prescription based on her findings. While I was waiting to see the ophthalmologist, I decided to get a second opinion from a different eye doctor. I went to another doctor who was very surprised they had suggested cataract surgery and said that my cataracts were so small that that an ophthalmologist would probably refuse to do anything with them at that time. He rechecked my eyes and gave me a prescription that was totally different than what they had given me. I went back to Eyemart Express. Thank goodness they had a 90-day warranty on lenses. They remade the lenses for free. When I went to pick them up, I put them on and for the first time in months, my eyes relaxed. I was no longer straining to see. There was no breaking in period with these glasses. I wore them out of the store and drove home. I canceled the appointment they had made me with an ophthalmologist and I am seeing much better. I will not be going back to Broome Optical.
We love Broome Optical! Doctor Hoang takes care of our entire family and she is fantastic with our kiddos! I should also mention, my wife and I are not easily satisfied with our eye wear... The amazing staff at Broome Optical went above and beyond to ensure we found what we were looking for when browsing their incredibly large and diverse selection of glasses.
Excellent eye care with Broome Optical I’ve been a patient since age 5. Dr Martin is BEST of the best & all the eye care assistants are wonderful as are the opticians and front line staff. Highly recommended Eye Care Specialists 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
