They can have all of the stars. They were so nice from the front desk to Dr. Bush. I had a massive stye and had been to quick care. My stye wasn't getting better so he put me on some antibiotics and drops. I hope they see this post. Thank you so much team!

Dr. Bush and his dedicated team are first-rate in every respect -- professional, courteous, good-humored and down-to-earth. And a special shout-out to Angela, who was extraordinarily patient and helpful last month as I fussed over getting my new glasses to fit just right. She's a gem!
I came in without my script, but did have a copy of it in my medical chart. I understand that they need the hard copy and I asked the receptionist if she would request the hard copy and I signed a release. I told her what my insurance was. She told me I was creating more work for her. Even though I had an eye exam 3 weeks ago at the University of Iowa she also had me sign something stating that I was going to have their doctor examine me as well, because otherwise they wouldn't fill the script because sometimes there's differences in the script. My insurance already paid for the one exam. I have a wonderful script 20/20 through the University of Iowa. I never had a Optometry office do this, but nonetheless I signed. I would like to say that other girl who helped me pick out the glasses was very, very nice and thorough. They have all my information and now it's been 3 weeks nearly and no one EVER got back to me. I was never given a quote. No one asked about what kind of glasses I wanted whether I wanted bifocal, transition etc. I emailed about how much difficulty I had and to just forget about it. I left my phone number all the same and I thought they might call me back and at least try to talk to me about it. They never even did that. That receptionist at the counter was rude. Bombastic at the onset. I'm a senior and I was not disrespectful to her. It's too bad because I would have liked to have purchased my glasses through here. Addendum. My husband and I ended up at all the vision place next to Verizon, off Mason street. VERY good selection, service and policy.. We finished up our HSA for the year and ended up purchasing four pairs of glasses between us. Designer frames with specialty lenses, transitions bifocals etc. I also had a new set of lenses put in a pair of older glasses. I'm sure this venue appreciated the business.
Didn’t even want to leave a star. Very rude staff. I called to schedule an appointment and was only asked for my birth date. When asked about my insurance I stated that I was told by my employer to just give my social security number and was told that was fine. Go in for my appointment, the woman sitting in the middle of the front desk was rude. She proceeds to ask about my insurance information, I told her what I told the scheduler and gave my social. She then typed it in and stated she couldn’t find anything. And proceeded to slam her pen down and it went across the desk and the person sitting next to her covered her face to hold back laughter. They could not find me because they had my maiden name in the system. That is their flaw for only asking for a birthdate when I scheduled the appointment. I go back with the assistant after being checked in, and asked her how she was doing after she had asked me and expressed how sorry I was for being ill prepared and that I was doing what my employer told me too, and that next time I would be more prepared. At that time I was so frustrated with how I was just treated I asked her to cancel my appointment and I would find elsewhere with better customer service and support. I do not recommend this office to anyone. Please go elsewhere I am sure you will be treated with respect.
It all went very well. The staff was courteous and friendly along with being efficient. Dr. Bush presents a relaxed, friendly attitude and is very thorough. Good job by all!
