DO NOT GO HERE!!! The front desk lady was terribly snappy and rude. I thought the eye Dr. would like to know how his patients are being treated. He came in and very politely said that I had an unpleasant experience. He very rudely said, “well let’s just get you in and out of here then!” I was dumbfounded to say the least. He never did get any nicer so when I left I told myself next year I’ll pay the extra money and go elsewhere. Wish I’d have read the reviews before I went because most are like mine.

I took my son to his eye appointment yesterday and I was told that they do not accept my insurance. I told the receptionist that I had called my insurance company that morning to check but she did not want to hear any of what I was saying. Very rude, she just knew they do not accept my insurance, not one time did she try to find out. She mentioned that I could call their billing dept but good luck with that...wow what a representation of your company. I called my insurance company back and they did a call with me on the phone which Carolina Eye Associates does accept my insurance..smh Needless to say I will not be going back there for anything....
When I first went to my appointment I was there for 3 hours. Then my glasses came in they're not the right prescription I can't see out of them. I have been trying to contact them nobody ever answers the phone. You called the number they tell you to call and put the extension in and nobody answers that number either. But when you go up there they're sitting at the front not doing anything. When I went to pick my glasses up I tried to get the lady's attention for a solid 5 minutes she was on her cell phone and ignored me.
I was not in my home town and needed an Eye Dr experiencing some issues with my left eye so I found this office and from the time I went in to the time I left everyone was super helpful and super nice!!! I only wish they took my insurance I would definitely start going there!!!!
My husband was sent there and I was very impressed with the staff and the doctor. Next year when it's time for me to get my exam this will be the place I choose.
