I didn't go for myself, I went with my son. Scheduling was tough, but the visit was worth it. He's a young adult with autism, but no one here treated him any different than any other patient. The calm and smooth procedures helped him stay relaxed and made it easier for his first real eye exam. Now he can get the corrective eye wear that he needs.

I had a great experience. The doctor encouraged my child to continue to do great in school. The staff were knowledgeable and it created a friendly environment.
Sally Garcia is the patient- I had a very disappointing experience at this office as a new patient today. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment to complete registration, but the front desk staff spent approximately 45 minutes trying to locate my vision insurance information. After finally finding it, I was told they could not see me because my insurance card did not reflect my current name. As someone with a billing background, I understand that claims can still be submitted while demographic information is being updated, and I have never had this issue with previous providers. During the interaction, I was also asked twice whether my appointment was “even an emergency,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional. I was then offered the option to be seen as a self-pay patient for around $300, and although I agreed to take that risk, my appointment was ultimately canceled because they claimed too much time had passed while trying to verify my insurance information. Overall, this was extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially for a first-time patient experience. The situation was not caused by me, yet I was the one inconvenienced after making the effort to arrive early and prepared for my appointment.
My appointment was not long everyone was pleasant and nice Dr. was good.He explained things to me that I needed to know quite well Thumbs up to everyone.
I really liked Dr. Smith. The girls that did the exam, were spot on. After completing my purchase utilizing my insurance I went to the counter to check out. The girl at that country was less than pleasant. She indicated that I owed $98 for the exam. I reminded her that I had Premier VSP and they cover everything. She rolled her eyes and said "we'll just bill you", again I reminded her of my insurance. I've had the same Eye Insurance for 50 years. I've never paid a penny as it is a benefit from my employer.
