WOW! BEST OPTICAL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! The team here is efficient, KIND, and takes time with you at every step of the process. I was seen immediately after filling out paperwork, and DR BARBER spent time with me, explain explaining my situation, going over my history, and giving me honest advice about the pros and cons of Lasik surgery. The opticians were knowledgeable and made the entire process EASY at the end. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you trying this location for all your vision needs!

I've been a patient here for over 11 years. They are a conscientious, competent, and kind group of people. They have an excellent selection of lens frames and frames for prescription sunglasses. They make buying glasses effortless and let you know exactly how much your insurance will kick in BEFORE you pick out the frames (that are all labeled by price). Highly recommend.

Used to have ok experience with this one, but things got messed up since ownership changed. Annual check up fee tripled for my son, messed up appointment so we have to cancel and make a new appointment months later, then they accused us of expiring the lenses just want to charge more. Carrboro Family Vision, we guarantee we burn your money faster than gas!

Major shoutout to the team at Carrboro Family Vision in Chapel Hill! Dr. Monica is awesome and so personable. She has a great sense of humor and clearly loves what she does! Mikey has shown up and shown out for me multiple times, with the latest being when I forgot to pack contacts before a weekend trip and didn’t have enough time to commute home to get them - I called, and he had sample packs waiting for me at the front desk to grab on my way to the airport!! Absolute life saver. If you’re looking for an eye doctor in the Triangle area, this is it!

Dr. Barber went above and beyond to make my daughter feel comfortable for her very first eye exam. She explained everything clearly, and her warm, friendly attitude made everything flow so smoothly. The staff sensed that my daughter was nervous about a test, and immediately gave her space and told her it was ok to say no. The overall professionalism, compassion, and friendliness of everyone was the best we've experienced.
