Cascade Ophthalmology

Dr. Henry is an excellent physician and I have received great care from this practice for 20 years. However a recent incident caused me to leave. I've had a series of strokes that left me with vision and other physical problems, and Dr. Henry was keep track of my vision problems. Because of the results of the strokes I am very slow in performing the usual tasks like washing, food prep, and other stuff. And I am extremely tired, falling asleep frequently. Because of all this stuff I was late for an appointment with Dr. Henry. I was told I was a "no-show," because I was 15 minutes late, and would be charged a fee for this. I was not a "no-show." I was late. So I decided that I need to find another Opthalmologist for this appointment and I cancelled my appointment. I am sorry to have left because Dr. Henry is a good and caring physician.

Dr Elizabeth Henry is amazing, caring yet extremely efficient. She diagnosed acute angle glaucoma my first visit after years at another Opthamology facility. I had procedures on both eyes within weeks. Doing so probably saved my eye site and a lot of pain had I had an episode. You just feel confident in her skills and knowledge when you’re with her.

Great practice with very talented practitioners. I have had to order new glasses for many years. Josh at Cascade is so good at fitting, best glasses experience I have had!

Clearly this office is not concerned with public health as a priority. Within 48 hours of making an appointment, I canceled via their voicemail due to a migraine headache. I called the following day to reschedule & was told I owed $50 for a no show appointment. I was angry, talked to office manager & got nowhere. I received a bill for $50, wrote a letter to the professionals (Doctors) about it - received no response. One month later, I’ve received another bill for $50. (In the time of COVID, my office welcomes cancellations if someone doesn’t feel well.) I will not be paying the $50 & cannot recommend this office.

Doctors Henry and Eavey are positively wonderful. My first eye doctor retired ten years ago and I have been looking for a good one ever since. My search has ended after finding Cascade Opthalmology based on reviews at a medical site. When I met Dr. Henry I silently thanked those reviewers and now I'm passing it on, even though I know the office will likely get even busier. All the staff is magnificent at keeping things running smoothly, though. One really feels that Dr. Henry has gathered together people like herself: with great integrity and a sincere dedication to patient health. When she has to be away we see Dr. Eavey, a likewise brilliant, dedicated professional up on the very latest breakthroughs such as a new, special lens made specifically for computer use. She really listens, and goes out of her way to make sure things are done perfectly. My husband and I actually look forward to our eye exams now, so expert are these doctors and gracious their staff.
