Casey optical was very quick to get me in, the staff was very personable. and professional. The girl who did my tests was extremely great, made me laugh and was made the exam fun! The Dr was very detailed and made sure I felt comfortable and everything was correct for me. And the girl who helped pick out my frames has great taste in purchasing unique frames that make you feel not like everyone else and was very nice too. Highly recommend them if you need contacts or glasses.

I needed a BVD exam, and they were super helpful. They rushed the preliminary exam a bit, IMO, but Dr. Kniffen was attentive, professional, and provided options if my prescription didn't work. And the staff was very accommodating to my BVD anxiety. Definitely a better experience than other optometrists I've seen. Update: my glasses haven't arrived. I was told between 1-2 weeks. Eye strain causes anxiety, and I'm feeling it. They need to provide next day or two day shipping. I paid out of pocket and I'm feeling screwed. Not happy!
Casey Optical Co. is hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had with eye care. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. They’re organized, friendly, and go out of their way to make the entire process smooth. The doctor is equally impressive—knowledgeable, attentive, and thorough. They take the time to explain everything clearly and make sure you understand your eye health without ever feeling rushed. You can tell they truly care about their patients and take pride in what they do. Overall, Casey Optical Co. delivers a perfect balance of professionalism and personal care. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-quality service and a team that actually cares about your well-being.
Casey optical is a breath of fresh air in a city that is strewn with inferior optical shops. I was referred to them by the optician at Costco as a company who could provide me with high quality progressive lenses. From walking through the front door to getting a perfect set of frames and lenses I was impressed. Allie was the technician who I initially saw. She is professional, attentive and the technology they have in the office is top notch. Next I met with Dr. Kniffen. She is knowledgeable and patient and spent the time to answer all my questions. I never felt rushed. Lastly I met with optician Pamela. She helped me find the perfect pair of frames based on my needs. Then we started into the lenses. I explained to her that as wide a field of peripheral focus was my biggest concern with progressive lenses. We went through the options and ordered the proper lenses. The only hiccup was when the lenses came in the lab had forgotten the anti glare coating. Not Pamela's fault and she got it fixed like a pro. Once again she is knowledgeable and spent as much time with me as I needed. I would highly recommend Casey Optical to anyone wanting a professional experience and a high quality set of eyeglasses.
I am incredibly disappointed with the billing and front-office practices at this location. While I really like Dr. Kniffen and appreciate her work, the administrative side of this business is deeply flawed. Due to my job recently switching providers away from VSP, my insurance is now out of network. While I understand it is partially on me for missing that notification among hundreds of emails I receive, every single medical office I have ever been to checks insurance *before* the appointment. I even waited 15 minutes in the lobby before being seen, which left more than enough time for the staff to verify my benefits. Instead, they waited until the middle/end of my appointment to look into it, rendering me responsible for over $400 in services. While I appreciate that an employee tried to find a discount to bring it down to nearly $300, I was entirely unprepared for this expense. I absolutely would have canceled the appointment had they checked my insurance at the door. Waiting until a patient is already in the chair to check coverage feels like a predatory business practice. Looking at other Google reviews, I see I am not alone and this has happened to other patients here before. To make matters worse, their communication afterward has been nonexistent. I have emailed them a total of three times and called to resolve this. During my call, I was promised that their billing person would speak with me, but no one ever called me back. They did send an automated text to ask for a review of my experience though. This office desperately needs to change their protocol and verify insurance at the beginning of the visit, rather than blindsiding patients with massive bills after the fact.
