Cedar Rapids Eye Care

I am so impressed by this place!! All the staff is very knowledgeable about what they offer. They have up to date equipment (I.e. no air puff test yay) I had my appt with my toddler and the staff were amazing! They had a little chair and books in the room with the doctor. The doctor was so good with her talking to her and letting her observe the appt. They were so understanding of me having her and that meant a lot to me. Also, the doctor was great and not pushy about buying things from them. The pricing for the contact prescriptions was so reasonable as well. I will be going here only for now on

What a pleasant experience! The staff were very attentive by listening to concerns and questions about the process. We were able to have the exams done and given the choice to select new frames while not feeling pressured to purchase them at their office rather than at a different store. .5+ stars Highly recommend them! There is no better place to go than Cedar Rapids Eye Care! From the friendly front desk greeting you with smiles, eye care techs, the highly qualified and great opinion givers when it comes to picking out frames, all the way to the doctors the staff is top notch! I’ve been a patient since they were housed downtown Cedar Rapids (Hill, Heying and Heying days!) and won’t have my eyes checked anywhere else! When it came time for my own kids eyes to be cared for, I didn’t waived having the team at CR eye care look out for my babes! Recently I have had a few friends ask for recommendations and had no reservations at all with giving them the number! Thanks for being an awesome place

Dr. Berger is wonderfully welcoming and consistently makes me feel comfortable. They take the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of my eye health and any procedures. I truly appreciate their clear and open communication. It's a truly positive experience every time.

I have been a client of CR Eye Care for decades- they are absolutely the best. Outstanding care, personal concern, fantastic problem solving even when my complicated eyes seem to want to do their own thing. My son is now a second generation patient and I wouldn’t take him anywhere else! Their developmental vision expertise is second to none.
