Despite a 45 wait beyond my appointment time, after I was called into my cataract consult my experience could not have been better! Everyone along the measurements assembly line was very pleasant and professional and then the next step that made my day. Emily was beyond fantastic: she was so knowledgeable, so pleasant, so kind and went above and beyond to make me feel like I was the most important patient she saw all day, knew exactly what lenses would fit my needs, explained everything in simple terms, and, most importantly eliminated any anxiety I was feeling about a medication I take that I was worried could eliminate me as a candidate for surgery. I truly appreciated her empathy and ability to say exactly what I needed to hear to make me feel totally confident about my surgery. Then Dr. Shoemaker came in and also made me feel totally at ease and made it clear by his actions and demeanor that I will be in great hands when I it comes to entrusting my eyesight to him. Thank you to everyone at Center for Sight for making my consult so pleasant and encouraging. I can’t wait for my procedure!!

Center for Sight is the Best for eye care. The offer a complete line of eye Services from an initial eye exam to complex Sergical service Dr. Lenhart, MD has been my eye care provider for several years. He and his staff are caring and are professionals. The wait time for my appointment was minimal. He answered all of my questions in easy to understand language. During my last visit Dr. Lenhardt recommended that I get a pair of glasses that has a Progressive Lens for my work on computers. This was a great improvement over my single strength Lens. THANK YOU DR. LENHART !! You cannot find a better team of doctors and their staff to address your eye care and needs.
I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Maloney and the entire supporting staff at Center for Sight in Sarasota. From the moment I walked in, everyone was professional, welcoming, and genuinely caring. Dr. Maloney took the time to answer all of my questions and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the process. The staff was attentive, efficient, and compassionate every step of the way. The level of care and professionalism here is truly exceptional. I highly recommend Center for Sight to anyone looking for top-quality eye care in Sarasota!
They handled my cataract in 2018, so when I needed a little tune-up, they were my first choice. My eye Dr. Also recommend them. They are professional and personable. And of course, very very skilled.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience and feel compelled to share the full picture. I called your office twice before scheduling to specifically ask whether you see 4-year-old patients. Both times I was told yes. Based on that assurance, I took a full day off work, drove from Fort Myers to Sarasota, and brought my daughter to her appointment. I also completed all pre-appointment paperwork through your online portal a couple of days before the visit — paperwork that included my daughter's date of birth. That was another opportunity for your staff to catch that she was 4 years old and address it before we ever made the trip. No one did. We waited in the lobby from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM — 45 minutes — before being turned away. The doctor apparently knew he does not see 4-year-olds, yet rather than come out to speak with me directly, he instructed the front desk to dismiss us and hand me a sticky note with another doctor's name and number. This was a failure at every level: your staff gave me incorrect information twice, the pre-appointment paperwork was never reviewed, and when the issue came to light, the doctor chose not to address it face-to-face. I wasted a full day of PTO, a long round-trip drive, and nearly an hour of waiting for an appointment that should never have been booked. I hope this feedback leads to real changes — verifying patient age requirements at the time of booking and during paperwork review are simple steps that would have prevented all of this.
