Central Denver Eyecare

I’ve been a patient at Central Denver Eye Care for over five years, and the experience has been consistently excellent. Dr. Tripp and the entire team are warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about their patients. It’s always nice seeing familiar faces year after year. They offer a great selection of frames, and the process is always smooth, especially when it comes to insurance. Everything is handled seamlessly, which makes each visit easy and stress-free. If you’re in the Denver area and looking for a reliable, welcoming eye care team, I highly recommend them.

I've been consistently coming to CDEC for years now. I've had both Dr.s there as my eye care providers. Both Dr.s are very professional, highly knowledgeable, THOROUGH, and have consistently kept a great rapport with me. CDEC's staff reflect the same professionalism that the Dr.s have. They are all friendly, attentive, and again are very knowledgable about the frames that they provide there. Also, I've had several different members of the staff aide me in choosing my frames for my particular facial features and overall structure so as to properly compliment my face. My most recent appointment featured Dr. Smith and technician (I can't remember his name sadly - chemo does that do you) that took me through the process of a new eye prescription and frames with their usual thoroughness and professionalism. As a senior and disabled Veteran, I was especially impressed with Dr. Smith's particular attention to addressing senior eye issues and taking into account my patient and family history. He was reassuring but still cautioned me about worst case scenarios, however unlikely. I will be returning again for followup appointments.

This visit was perfect. I’ve been dealing with some not so great health-related visits lately so I braced myself for another disappointment. That didn’t happen. Front desk staff attentive & friendly. Same for 2 optometry professionals. One did some initial testing & then the doctor did the detailed exam. The doctor patiently answered all my questions & taught me a few useful things (e.g. A reason I might be experiencing eye strain is that one eye has different vision than the other so there’s extra work involved when I’m looking through lenses that are the same in both lenses). Jen, the woman who helped during my frame selection was awesome. She was generous with her time & I ended up with two frames I like very much & that cost less than I anticipated - they have a line of modestly priced frames in addition to all the designer ones. Large selection overall. Definite thumbs up for the whole team!

Dr Benjamin Smith and the entire Central Denver Eye Care team is dedicated to ensuring a terrific experience! They explain every step, share options and hear all my input. I always learn something new at every visit on how to take better care of my eyes and vision. Highly recommend!

The doctor was super cool!! He was super informative and his method was awesome!! Front desk staff is super friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to insurance billing!! Overall I’m happy to call this establishment my primary eye care provider
