Dr Wherley and his team are wonderful! I have been going to him for years and always feel well cared for and the wait time is always easy. The optical department was awesome and Amber Vanderwall was extremely helpful in selecting my new glasses. Great service all around!
I can't believe this place has a 4.7 score! My husband was fraudulently billed for a refraction exam he never received. We were sent a bill. We call the number on the bill and we wait on hold for 4 to 5 hours. Then it says it will call us back if we press number one. When they try to call back, their number is a spam number, so the phone Reject it. We never get the call. Then when I try to call the office number, it's a scheduling department outside of the office so you have to get someone there to call the original office that we were seen at and they can't get a hold of anyone. My husband drove up there, spoke to someone at the front office and she said she would do a ticket. We never heard from her, and we never received another bill with the charges removed. I again called the scheduling department to get them to get in touch with the front office and to no avail they could not get in touch with anyone. I iMessage someone through the patient portal and did not receive a message back. Yet these people expect to get money for a fraudulent charge? They are not associated with the Better Business Bureau, I checked. Their billing department is a scam. They make it so difficult for you to get in touch with them and have a spam phone number to make you get so frustrated that you'll just pay the bill. We're not falling for it. I guess they don't want to get paid. I have entered numerous complaints about this company. I will go to a TV station if I have to. I'm done with your billing department. I want to know that my charges for my husband have been removed and we no longer owe any money. Channel 2 will be called next.
Dr Vazquez and his staff are wonderful. Explain everything in terms I understand. My only negative is we had a 45 minute wait from our appointment time until the time a tech called us from the waiting room. I guess that is just the way it is now in The Villages.
Very professional, friendly staff. Technician was very capable, making me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. Dr Bui was also friendly and honest with her opinions and my options.
Best experience ever with an eye facility. From the moment you enter you are greeted by smiling friendly reception people. Jay that did my eye exam was outstanding in every way. Took her time to explain everything she was doing and answered all my questions. She was friendly, courteous, and professional. Loved her. Dr. Jose Vazquez was the best eye doctor I have ever been to in my life. Ultimate professional, friendly and explained everything about the results of my eye exam. I would not ever think about going anywhere else for my eye care. It will be very easy to highly recommend Lake Eye to anyone that asks me where they should go for eye care.
