I would like to give a 5 star review to Ashley and Erika. This afternoon I stopped by to get an adjustment and screws for my glasses. These two ladies were very professional and helpful to me when I was in the store. Today they were busy so they asked me please come back in a few, I responded sure. When I came back to the store they helped me and let me try on a few glasses in the store. Most all they were so polite, sweet, and gave good customer service. While they were adjusting my glasses, I told them need to change the screws I wear rimless glasses. They mentioned me to me shipments come in once a month. they gave me date to return to the store, so I can get the parts i need for my glasses. I will definitely go back and see them. Wanted to thank Thomas and Adam. On Sunday I went into Optican3 my glasses needed new screw and nose pieces. Thomas was nice and honest with me saying he could clean up my screws on the glasses. Which he did a phenomenal job and gave me new nose pieces. He’s always keeps me in the loop with Chrome Heart eye wear show. Definitely like going to this place to do business.

I was traveling from Los Angeles to Boston area last week and my Cartier eyeglass was broken from the middle. None of the optical stores could fix it for me and one of them recommended Optical 3 in Chestnut Hills because they do sell and fix Cartier. When I got to the store and a real gentleman helped me and it took him around 10 minutes to get it fixed. When I asked him how much do I owe him, he told me that I owe him a big smile. I was really impressed. I was a traveler and it is hard for them to have me as a return business and their kind assistance should be praised and should bring them lots of business. Because they are really good people and deserve the support from the neighborhood. I want to take this opportunity to thank them again and I may stop by their store if I ever visit Boston area again. May God bless them.
I have been buying my glasses at Opticians 3 (O3) for 15 years (from former owner and now new owner) and the store, service, and selection is TOP notch. I really cannot understand what the other reviewers' issues are. That review is definitely NOT the O3 experience that I always experience nor the experience I can witness from other happy customers in the store. Do NOT forego a visit to O3 based on that other 'out of whack' reviewer. I was having trouble with my eyes this past weekend so on Monday 7/31/17 I called O3 to make an appointment with Dr Noel for an eye exam. Dr Noel was able to take me the following day which was perfect. Dr Noel is AMAZING. She is personable, accessible, extremely bright, and always up on the latest technologies. She explains what she is doing in simple and clear terms. She is the epitome of the 'local' doctor or businessman who you get to know and trust and feel good about. She is also great if you need advice on choosing eyeglass frames - though she doesn't work for O3 and there is no pressure to buy anything in the store simply because you saw Dr Noel, but it is extremely convenient that she is in the same location. My prescription had changed, so I did need to get new glasses, so I did peruse the selection at O3. I went into the store and was greeted by Stella. Stella was part salesperson and part psychologist - helping me choose frames and suggesting frames - based on my new prescription, face, coloration, etc. Stella and her co-workers - ALL were fantastic and helpful and had great suggestions on helping me find great options. The brands and selection of frames was TOP NOTCH and definitely better than what one may find in a typical Mall Chain eye glass store. Stella's expertise on the product as well as the prescription side of the purchase was fantastic. The store was immaculate. We narrowed down our search to 3 frames and then I went back with my wife on Weds night when I knew Stella would be there. Everything was waiting perfectly for our arrival and we chose the winner. Stella agreed we made the right choice. Stella then explained all of the lens options and was very transparent as what would be best and what wasn't needed - she did not simply try to sell me every option. She took the measurements, and then we finished the sale. Everything done perfectly. Thank you Stella. My wife and I walked out very happy and we couldn't stop talking about how professional (and cool and hip) that Stella was. Opticians 3 - thank you. We recommend you to the highest degree.
They get my difficult prescription right every time. Great selection of frames and only let me try on what will work with my prescription. Wonderful service. Expensive but worth it. Stella is awesome when choosing frames!
Opticians 3 used to be our go-to place for prescription glasses. The retailer changed ownership, service is NOT what it used to be. My husband took in a pair of glasses that needed a nose piece replaced. They did not offer a fix, they wanted to sell him a new pair. All together my family has purchased at least 16 glasses from this retailer. NO MORE, looking for a new optician for my business.
