I love Children's Mercy!!! My daughter has been going for over a year. She goes to Broadway for her eyes bc of her medication. They are always so sweet to her and play with her. Their waiting room is amazing. They have a boat with a TV in it and chairs for the kiddos. The optical shop let's my daughter walk around in there. They are so kind and I just love it every time.

Doctors and nurses are so amazing and so nice. They seem to really care about the kids. I love that they give tokens for a toy machine. It really made my child feel better after getting blood work done. The only problem is that the clinic receptionists are so rude. Right off the bat I had a question and it was just eye rolls and attitude. I don’t know what I did to start off that interaction that way. The x-ray lady was also rude. On me on not being in the right spot at the right time but I was meet with attitude and aggression. I asked if I could come back with my child for the X-ray and she didn’t say anything, so I walked back there with them. She rudely told me to get out of the room. I wouldn’t have gone back if she would have answered the question in the first place. Luckily the doctors and nurses are so amazing, which makes it worth going.
My family recently moved here from St. Louis, and my husband and I wanted to establish care with a pediatrician here at Children's Mercy. The whole process is an absolute headache; they see so many patients that it feels as though they are in a hurry to get you in and out instead of educating you on your child's illnesses or concerns. I also don't appreciate that they don't give you a "grace" period, not even five minutes, especially when they will have you waiting for fifteen minutes to be seen. It would be considerate of them to understand that things happen, and you can't always show up at the exact time. I've never dealt with a doctor's. They gave the disclaimer about no grace period; office like thi however, it's frustrating to say the least.
This review is specifically for JADA AT THE Purple CLINIC!! You are amazing!!! U made my daughter very comfortable… it was closing time your attitude was still very much vibrant and comforting!! You deserve a raise! Cant rate this review at a 10 stars but I would!! GREAT JOB!!
I brought my son to see his Dr while waiting I became dizzy. I could no longer sit in my chair and I laid on the ground sweating real bad me not knowing what was going on. The whole nursing staff on Purple/Yellow clinic came to my assistant. They treated my needs and got me back to feeling normal. I Thank each and every staff who assisted me.
