The 5 star must be for the exam part only because I have had a few visits there over that last 2 or 3 years and it never fails that I pay over 700$ for the initial visit and glasses and 2 to 5 months later im receiving additional bill for over 300$ No one let's me know i may need to pay additional money 3 or 4 months later . And to be honest I wouldn't mind a bill for 20 or 30 dollars but its over 300 ! When I've called to try to get an explantation for the large amount its always, we didnt know until the insurance paid their part. I've went to other eye care places and dental as well and they always know exactly how much my deductible is and my co pay and how much the insurance is going to pay. Not here..you walk out thinking your bill is paid or mostly paid and then bam 3 or four months later their billing for additional 300 $. It seems shady to me. When I call to talk talk to someone about it , obviously upset about the uninformed additional cost , the people on the phone start getting the i dont care attitude and talk nasty to you over the phone. Its like they could care less if you come back or not. I think its because they know there is another unsuspecting customer waiting to be seen.they should give you accurate billing information before you leave of what's paid what's not paid how much insurance is paying and exactly how much more you might have to pay 3 or 4 months down the road. I dont like this type of practice. I never get additional bills from my dentist or other eye care institutes. I feel mislead, uninformed of other potential charges and to be honest, cheated. Over 1,000.$ out of pocket plus whatever the insurance paid for am eye exam and reading glasses...shame they act like they dont care on top of it
