Took my mother for her 3 month check-up. We arrived on time and witin 15 minutes were taken back for work-up. Then told the doctor didn't have a room available. Waited over an hour without any communication from staff. I asked how much longer it would be and was told to we should always allow for 5 hours. This is outrageous. This office seems to have ascheduling problem! You should not have to wait all day to see the doctor for a follow-up!

Very nice place to drive to. The entrance has wheelchair accessibility that is ADA compliant. People can get in and out quite easily and elderly people seem to be doing fairly well when they come out of this place. I saw the front entrance and it's quite clean. I enjoyed coming here

I'm writing this review to give an awesome rating for a Dr Derek Heimlich who is an amazing eye doctor going on 3 years now he's absolutely wonderful if you are looking for a doctor an eye doctor that is I strongly and highly recommend Dr Derek Heimlich he won't steer you wrong he's out front he's honest he cares about his patients I strongly recommend Cincinnati eye institute as I have been a patient of the Cincinnati eye institute off and on for a little over 40 plus years as a patient myself they are always taking wonderful care of me even as a child

This place comes across as a low income clinic with very little care given to it's patients. I was not happy with the scheduling or the actual office setting. Chose another provider (Bennett and Bloom) and was so happy I didn't go with CEI for the surgery.

My wife had a cataract removed yesterday at the Edgewood location of the Cincinnati Eye Surgery Center. Dr Chu was her surgeon and did an excellent job. Everything was done with excellence. The Surgery Center is a “state of the art” center and practically new. The staff was excellent. Check in was easily completed and the waiting area is really nice. They even have a fireplace. The electronic boards tell you the stage the patient is in and the staff is very knowledgeable. My wife said the surgery procedure and Dr. Chu was also excellent. We are going back today to the office behind the center for a follow with Dr. Chu to check everything out. Overall, we are very satisfied with everything so far. Thank you!
