They cancelled my appointment I waited two months for because the doctor decided to leave. They refused to cancel my prior authorization so I couldn't get in to another doctor at a different location. Called and left many voicemails to try and take care of it, you can't get a hold of anyone besides scheduling. This place sucks. Don't waste your time here.

I hate leaving such a review, but the experience leaves me no choice. My first time here, I came here simply because Southwest Vision isn’t taking my insurance anymore; needless to say I will pay out of pocket and go back to Southwest Vision. Upon my arrival, staff moral seemed less than par. The doctor, spoke to me as if I was a 5 year old trying to get contacts for the first time. I left after the exam and as finished, they didn’t feel right but the doctor is right in the sense that it does take a bit to adjust. Fast forward, I cannot see days later. I try to call, cannot get through. I call again, and the soonest they can get me in was almost 2 weeks from that time. They finally get me in at 7am the next week. Upon arrival then, they seem annoyed, the prescription is indeed wrong. She changed the prescription and brand- so much better. I go in the next week to pick up my glasses and let them know I want to stay with this brand. It was going to take a bit so I lefts I just came back today, a week later, and I was given the wrong prescription. I asked them about it, and while u could tell the gentleman was frustrated (and this not being his fault), he had to have it re-confirmed with the doctor. The doctor seems over-worked. I will not be back again, and would advise to double check prescriptions and details if you do.

This was our first visit to Clarkson Eyecare. The entire staff were welcoming and personable. Dr. Amy Bell was extremely knowledgeable and shared what she was doing and what she was finding in plain English. She spoke with compassion and genuine concern for our wellbeing and expressed her desire for us to be completely satisfied with our new prescriptions and the service received. I would definitely recommend Dr. Bell and this practice to anyone who is looking for personal attention and quality service.

The staff is very friendly, unfortunately they are in no hurry. I had to wait 30 to see the Doc, for a 20 min exam. Waiting another 10 mins to pick out glasses. Mind you, there are two people in the office so they did a fine job. I just think that it shouldn’t take two hours for an eye exam and then you walk out without even picking out new frames.

I brought my mother here for the first time in June 2022. Before her appointment I came in to ask questions and get her registered. The lady at the counter was super helpful and welcoming. Sara started my mom‘s exam and she was wonderful. She picked up right away that she needed to talk slowly, loudly, and explain things. She talked directly to my mom and made my mom feel very special. Many care providers look mostly at me and talk when they realize my mom is hard of hearing and that does not always feel good. The doctor was fantastic with her too, making her feel comfortable and helping her through the frustration of not being able to read some of the letters on the eye chart. Another lady came in to do the dilation of my mom‘s eyes and was just as fantastic. The third lady that helped us was the one who fitted my mom for her glasses. She was very honest and gave feedback for glasses choice. That was helpful. Everyone here gets a five star from us! We found our new home for my mom’s eye care.
