My experience with Dr. Reiss's office has been extremely frustrating. In early January, Dr. Reiss told me that the contact lenses I have successfully worn for years were being discontinued and that I would need to switch to a different product. After contacting the manufacturer directly, I learned this was false—they confirmed the product was not being discontinued. I shared this information with Dr. Reiss, but he continued to push other products despite my explaining that I am unable to wear other brands. I remained firm in my decision to stay with the lenses that work for me. When it came time to order my glasses, I was told I needed to pay for both my glasses and contacts in order to receive 50% off my frames. I paid in full as instructed. Two weeks later, when I picked up my glasses, I was told there was an additional $26 balance due because the price had changed, so I paid that as well. A few weeks later, my contact lenses arrived. Since I still had a couple pairs left, I didn't open the new boxes immediately. Later, I started receiving emails claiming I owed $180 for my contacts, even though I had already paid. I called the office multiple times and left several messages, but no one returned my calls. When I finally opened the contacts, I discovered they had been ordered with the wrong prescription. I again tried calling the office without success. I even stopped by in person, only to find a note stating the office would be closed until June 1. I contacted another office location and left messages there as well. After months of trying to resolve these issues, it is now the first week of July, and I am still waiting for either the correct prescription or a refund. The lack of communication, misinformation, billing issues, and failure to resolve a simple mistake have made this one of the most disappointing experiences I've had with a healthcare provider. I cannot recommend this practice based on my experience.

Everyone is so friendly and very helpful! It’s always a pleasure to see Dr. Reiss- he’s such a compassionate doctor and answers my questions so well. I have been seeing him ever since he came to this practice. It’s a pleasure to have such great eye care here in Alliance!
5 star office! Dr Reiss is a very good thorough and spends time with you and doesn’t rush you. The whole staff is very friendly and polite. Wendy fitted my new glasses and took an old pair that was falling off my face and fixed them so they wouldn’t! Again 5 star office!
Dr. Reiss was professional and thoroughly reviewed my eye history. He evaluated the problem and has put me in touch with a specialist to hopefully improve my eyesight in one eye. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. After going to another top eye care center for about 10 years, I grew tired of the over-booking (long waits) and at times, unfriendly staff. I was also seeing an Eye Doctor who didn't seem to know how to deal with my problem. I am glad I chose Clarkson and Dr. Reiss.
The office in Alliance, Ohio was amazing. Kind staff, very timely and efficient. So happy with my choice of eye care. Highly recommend.
