Clarkson Eyecare - High Ridge

I've been going to this location for years. I've always had a great experience but my last appointment was terrible. I booked my appointment went in only to be told my insurance won't cover this appointment. I had been there a year earlier for a medical issue and my visit was entered incorrectly. I was asked to reschedule. When I finally did get in the tech was great. The eye exam not so great. I felt like I was imposing on the doctors time. I was not listened to and was scolded over another appointment that I had to postpone. When I tried to explain I was cut off. The exam ended and I was sent up front to get glasses. When I explained I wanted progressive glasses I was told my insurance again was an issue. So I ended up leaving with no glasses. I called my insurance when I got home and was told yes progressive lenses were covered. The doctor just needs to pre approve them. I called back and explained what I was told by the insurance agent and was told o sorry she put in the wrong code. You can come back and order them...uhh no I really don't think I will be going back. Waste of my time and gas....I'll find a different provider!!!!

I went in because a friend had her appointment and asked a patient myself. Asked if they'd give my glasses a tighten up. I was at the House Springs Mo. store and Bri was so sweet ! She went beyond to get ty hrm just right!! Thank you Bri🤓

I was asked to arrive 10 mins early to my appt. I did. I wasn't seen by the eye doctor until 1 HOUR LATER! Also, I arrived BEFORE the gentlemen that was seen before me. Both of us had to fill out paperwork and mine was finished first. Very frustrating that he turned out to be the reason why I had to wait an hour. Super friendly staff and very apologetic but I was very annoyed.

The entire staff were friendly and helped us get the proper eye wear We have been long time customers and go every year. Dr Thatch is very meticulous kind and knows our eyes and helps with the proper treatments and exams to the changes of our eyes for many years. The office staff always keeps me and my wife’s appointments together each year and sends frequent reminders and office updates all year long. Thank you. Tom Stone.

The doctor is professional and thorough. The staff is helpful, competent, and friendly. I got an appointment quickly and was able to be seen almost immediately after I got there. One of the better eye appointments I've had.
