On July 6, I was kindly greeted at the front desk when I came in for my appointment at 8:00. However, the first technician who bright me back to start the testing was very stand-off ish, not patient friendly, acted like she didn’t want to be there, and presented the entire time with a bad attitude. Dr. Gonzalez, on the other hand, was very friendly and welcoming, professional and very helpful as she always is. I have only asked to see her through the years when making appointments. Christy, who helped me with the frames out on the floor was also very friendly, kind and professional.

This place is horrible. The doctor did not know what she was doing while doing my eye exam. They charged me a fitting fee with my insurance, which took away my benefit from my contacts. Now I am left without contacts because they used my credit for a fitting fee, which was a hidden fee that they did not tell me about in which was not on my receipt when I explained to them that I needed my credit so I can get contacts because I am disabled. They did not care. And made excuses of why they charged it while they never told me this upfront. I didn’t know the fee existed. I do not recommend this place anywhere. The doctor also messed up on my eye exam. I’m not able to see correctly out of my contacts and they refuse to fix and adjust my vision.
had a disappointing experience here. The staff seemed rude and dismissive when I asked for help, which made me feel uncomfortable and overlooked. I eventually decided to go somewhere else because I did not feel assisted or valued as a customer. What stood out to me most was that another customer who came in afterward appeared to receive more courteous and helpful treatment. I hope customer service improves moving forward.”
I am very pleased with Dr Kathy Gonzalez. Not pleased that I am being billed for refraction and part of electroretinography totaling $125.00 for both. I have Medicare part B a supplement UHC AARP and Medical Mutual Eye Med. Why am I paying out of pocket. Are these charges being billed correctly?
When I picked up my glasses in February 2025, I knew they were wrong. I tried to get someone to actually check them, but I was told that I might have to get used to them. I rarely use them, since it causes some pain. The feel like they pull my eyes out of line. They really are the worst I've ever had. I will not come back because no one listened to me. For the price I believe I deserved better. Now I have to wait until 2026 before I can see an eye doctor.
