Great experience, Dr. Shelton was very nice. She went over my concerns and listened intently. I was able to get a new prescription without a full exam since I had already had one this past year, and my cost ended up being half of what I was quoted as a result. Great music playing in the waiting room too, was a plus!
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I’ve had issues trying to get this place to answer their phone the entire time I’ve been a customer here (4 + years). Additionally, I moved states, and have been having trouble finding a provider in my new state who takes my insurance. I called here to see if I could get a 3- month or less supply of my contacts for continuity of care while I find a new place, and they denied. I cannot see anything without my contacts, and I am currently wearing two right eye contacts even though I have an astigmatism as I ran out of left eye contacts. I am getting married in a few weeks and have no idea if I’m going to be able to see for my own wedding as I don’t have glasses.
Clarkson Eyecare on Westport Rd is one of the best! I highly recommend them with an A+ rating. Dr. Shelton is very thorough, caring, and professional. The ladies in the office are helpful and accommodating.
Dr. Shelton is patient, listens to me, offers advise, very thorough, never seems rushed to finish. She is technically a genius. My prescriptions are always right on. I have followed her from Fern Creek to Springhurst for only her to do my eye exams.
