Clarus On Lilly Rd

2 of their ophalmologists recommended scleral contact lenses to correct issues with my post cataract surgery ( not performed at Clarus). Purchased scleral lenses at great expense and multiple visits to their Lilly road office. The scleral lenses caused my eye to become bloodshot and swollen which took weeks to heal and for my vision to return to my previous vision acuity, and I couldn't see well enough to feel safe driving with them on. They asked for me to leave the lenses and promised that someone named Frank would get back to me about possible partial refund. 4 weeks later, I have not heard from Frank.

People are nice, glasses are fine, but every time I come there's a problem with billing. I call my insurance and they say the procedure is fully covered and the code entered was incorrect. I've ONLY ever had this problem with this specific eye company and it's been 3 times now. I have to fight to be heard and get it taken care of when it should go through fine on its own. My insurance has always paid out easily for every other doctor or service that's covered so it's clear the problem is clarus and not my insurance.

Clarus on Lilly Rd. I had an unacceptable experience at the Clarus clinic on Lilly Road. While the facility was clean, the air vent was extremely dusty, which caused my eyes to become severely irritated. Despite my visible discomfort, the technician proceeded with the refraction test for reading glasses anyway. Because my eyes were so irritated, everything was completely blurry, meaning the test results were entirely compromised. Afterward, I was left sitting alone in a completely dimmed room and told the doctor would be in "shortly." It was not shortly. I sat there in discomfort, and while I could hear the doctor visiting at least two other patients while I was left waiting. This facility showed a complete lack of care, professionalism, and basic respect for a patient's time and physical well-being. Avoid this location.

I find their scheduling line person was unprofessional. Scheduled for 2 months out. Never received any confirmation texts so called before my appointment to confirm. No one answers when you call and didn’t call me back. Drove 40 min. To the appointment and they said they had canceled it some time back as that doctor is not working there anymore. Said they couldn’t leave me a voicemail which doesn’t make sense and I have zero missed calls. Person working desk was unapologetic. Won’t be coming back here.

My experience here has been so wonderful. I have been dealing with eye issues for a couple of years. No other optometrist referred to anyone to help with the issue. It turns out that I have a medical problem with my eyes. We are working on solutions for it. There glasses center was so good. A great selection of frames. Great communication. There was a problem with the lab about my frame and they let me know right away so that I could choose a new pair. I highly recommend Claris on Lilly
