Clear View Eye Associates, P.C.

I am a new patient, and I wanted to share my positive experience with Clear View Eye associates in Billerica. Everything went smoothly, starting with the fact that I was able to secure an appointment within a week of calling. I saw Dr. Tolchin, who was extremely professional and pleasant. Additionally, the front desk staff, the optical shop, and the technician were all excellent. They also have another office in Woburn which is closer to me but I wanted to be seen sooner so I took an appointment in Billerica. Thank you for the great care! Jana S.

Love, love, love the doctor — and the staff in general are incredibly kind and genuinely good people all around. However, my biggest issue is the time management. You schedule an appointment for a certain time, yet often end up waiting far longer than expected — sometimes 30–40+ minutes past your designated appointment time. It’s incredibly frustrating and can make it feel like your time isn’t being considered, especially when the actual visit with the doctor is so quick once you’re finally seen. Because of this, I ended up leaving at one point rather than waiting longer, and I’ll be seeking another doctor moving forward.

My 90 year old mother sees Dr Zolchin for her eyes. The doctor and her entire staff always go above and beyond to accommodate my mother as well as treat her with dignity and respect.

I absolutely LOVE the Dr. giving the exams and have been going to the Billerica office for over a decade, but sadly after my last appointment a year ago I won’t be back. The front end staff left a bad taste in my mouth (Cookie in particular) and the hours for the Billerica office are extremely tricky and inconvenient, so I decided not to go back after my last appointment. Evidently I was booked for an appointment a year out, however. I never received a reminder- I would have cancelled given that I wasn’t planning on going back to the office after that. What I did receive was a missed appointment/no show bill for $75. Again, I didn’t receive any sort of reminder and I was out of the state for a wedding so had I received a reminder, again I would have cancelled. Once again, highlighting issues with the front end staff. They also have a a much more limited choice in frames than when I first started going there. It’s very sad because I really loved the optometrist.

I love this eye doctor as well as the entire team. The whole team is professional, very down to earth and incredibly knowledgeable. The office is always immaculate and well maintained. They always remember me as if I was there every day! I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Highly recommend…10 stars would be a better rating! 🌟✨💫
