If it was not for Marti and the front desk, it would of been a 5 star rating, Front desk is clueless, billed my glasses as my husbands script and all, and mine as his. Could not seem to come up with a "real" itemized read out, just the total cost. Tried to claim only one pair of the glasses was paid for...thank goodness for my credit card receipt!! Marty is plain RUDE, and seems to not know when to back off, treats you like hes a school teacher...while lacking education how to treat people himself.....last trip to this place even tho I liked the DR and can see well so far..I will go where I feel appreciated as a paying customer.
I originally went somewhere else to get my glasses. When I move to Clio they were very close I stopped in just to see how they were. And I found them all to be very helpful, very caring, and very very pleasant to be with. That means a lot to me. Also they fixed my glasses even though I had purchased them somewhere else for next to nothing. I plan on going back there and make an appointment and making them mind you have time I trust. Anybody else to do the same thing! I hope you take this review to Heart also I hope that the staff reads this kudos to you all. Denise Salter
I chose this place because "mom and pop" shops are being being left behind to the more fancy big box stores. I wanted the small town feel and that's exactly what I got. Receptionist was nice and knowledgeable. She got the ball rolling and even before I had all my paperwork done I was called back for my eye exam. While this place had tried and true eye exam machines, they were clean and well loved. The examiner was nice and personable. After that was all said and done, I picked out my frames. My favorite part! I don't know how many I tried but this man was patient, lol. I was never rushed or pushed into any frame that was pricey or honestly looked too big for my melon. Haha. It was a comfortable setting. Then we got down to numbers. I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable their prices were! Half of what I paid last year at another location. My insurance was the same so....I'm chalking it up to the equipment I was paying for at the other place. Plus, I got free side shields for my old pair of glasses. Woot! Woot! Overall this was a nice place for quality glasses that were fair priced. I will be a return customer.
After a awful new pair of glasses I finally had a great eye exam! They were all very friendly and I love my new specks. Thank you for allowing me to be successful at life again.
