Had a rather unpleasant experience today where I could feel the judgement through the phone, over missing some appts because they will not work with my schedule. I understand my entire pregnancy is important, but honestly with my experience in prior pregnancies, the only time they actually do anything is the initial appointment with the ultrasound, bloodwork, the anatomy scan (all done already) and then closer to due date when making plans for delivery. All the other appts they check a heart beat for 5 seconds. I already know my baby has a heart beat because I feel her moving every day. They told me I haven't established care yet, but I've had 2 appointments in the office, bloodwork, and one at maternal fetal medicine for the anatomy scan. The first appt I had a confirmation ultrasound so I'm not sure why that wasn't the "establishing care" appt. She said something about how this is what I signed up for when getting pregnant and I have to make the time work... as if I planned this, and as if everyone can afford to risk losing their job. If I had planned this pregnancy, I would have never left my last job. My new job had no PTO yet. If I feel I need an appt, I will come in. Obviously my baby is more important than my job, but it's also important to not lose my job or else how can I afford to care for my children? I'm just a little upset that if this is an office that has evening hours, why not make accomodatioms for a struggling pregnant woman? Anyway, maybe just some things to think about before placing judgement. Like I was told... I will just have to make it work.

Amazing place! The staff is great and friendly. Im usually nervous going to the doctors but the people make it so I dont have to be nervous. Will always be my primary care
I have been going here to 700 heritage drive OBGYN through two pregnancies and the service and communication is always the best. Everyone is always so pleasant and helpful. They take the time to personally know you as a patient and truly care. I wouldn’t go anywhere else
Just had my Nexplanon implant removed by Krista, and I had the best experience with it! She was very detailed and informative, determined, and did what is best for me. I appreciate her!
I moved from maryland to PA midway through my pregnancy and was hesitant about change of obgyn. But I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional care and service I received from CHDC obgyn. Shoutout to Kelsey Waller. She’s amazing at what she does. Very patient and listens to all the concerns. I felt very calm and relaxed after all my prenatal visits.
