Dr. Suzanne Goodman provided an exceptional experience for our entire family. From the moment we walked in, her professionalism and genuine care stood out. She took her time with each of us, ensuring a thorough and thoughtful exam, and never made us feel rushed. What I especially appreciated was her transparency—she clearly explained which services were not covered by insurance, so there were no unexpected costs. That level of honesty is rare and truly valued. Even more importantly, the entire visit felt centered on patient care, dignity, and respect. Unlike other offices, there was absolutely no pressure to purchase anything, which made the experience feel comfortable and trustworthy. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to offer a wider selection of children’s frames covered by insurance like Medi-Cal, so kids can have more options and enjoy the experience of choosing their glasses. Overall, every step of the process exceeded our expectations. Dr. Goodman and her team are outstanding, and I will absolutely be recommending her to friends and family.

Been coming here for years and I will keep doing so. Dr Goodman is very nice and friendly . She will answer any questions you have and also take really good care of you while you are at your eye visit. The staff is very helpful as well. I highly recommend coming here for eye exams and glasses.

The staff at Dr Goodman’s office are great! Got me in for a visit right away (my glasses and spare pair got broken). Dr Goodman is very kind and a good person. Her equipment for assessing and diagnosing is very good!! They let you know what kind of coverage you have, and what it will cover (it is a new insurance to me) without being pushy. I highly recommend their office!

Dr. Goodman is a good listener and gives clear explanations. She is never rushed. We found her practice when we moved to Ventura and my husband and I keep going back. I highly recommend her.
