Costco Davenport Ia 1325

Me and my family were in Costco today just doing a light bit of shopping when we went to self check out and there were some issue with the checkout system, which a kind worker came over the verify our items and helped us finish checking out. As we proceeded to leave, an employee named Sam looked as our receipt as expected to look at our purchase. After he looked at a few items we tried to get our receipt assuming the normal flow of the operation. He got frustrated with us, made us wait and started to pull all of our items out of the cart to compare one by one. During this time he let numerous customers pass by him without having their purchases verified. This was all confusing as it seemed completely unnecessary. We were frustrated, feeling targeted for something. We tried to proceed to leave anyway as our items were all verified. Sam then told us to shop somewhere else and never come back. This is not how customers should be treated.

Check out customer care really needs support. Everyone's busy.Everyone's in a hurry but slowing down to care for your customer is always important. I was treated rudely and abruptly by both the checker and the cart support girl. I was trying to hurry, but they made me box up my own things and then asked me to move twice from the pos and the end check out as if the hundreds of dollars I just spent didn't give me the ability to have good customer care or patience. Super disgusted with how I was treated.

I recently went to Costco and after a long shopping session i decided to grab some food from the court and right as i walk up, the first thing the employee (Gabriel) says is “oh great” in a irritated tone, i ignored it and continued to try ordering normally; the whole time im responded to with annoyance and attitude. Every time i took longer than 2 seconds to reply he would heavily “sigh” and give a quick disapproving look. Im disappointed in the service from him. Although his coworker which i didn't get to see the name of was great and handled everything perfectly

Always helpful friendly staff that work there. The prices are reasonable and so is the food from the cosco grill & very tasty also.

Only found one helpful cosco employee during my recent shopping trip today. Cashier was rude at check out as my shopping order wasn’t lined up how she particularly wanted the items sorted while she’s making above minimum wage. Just scan the items and smile! Not that hard.
