Shane did a fantastic job helping me pick out glasses and prescription sunglasses and coordinating for them to be shipped to me (spending about an hour helping me with everything). Prices are much better at Costco compared to other places I looked

Today the optical department at Costco at Gulf Coast town center spent a lot of time with me to adjust glasses that were driving me crazy, and even the place where I purchased the glasses had been unable to resolve the problem. I highly recommend this optical department staff! I bought my previous glasses at this location and I will be sure to return from my next!
I had been going to Cistco for years and loved it. Good quality for the money even though the selection is small. Now they have a new group working there. They aren't as friendly, treated us poorly, making comments like customers are dummies, and tgey haven't done a good job with adjustments. At 77 I have had years of good and bad optical experiences and a draw full of glasses my eyes couldn't adjust to. Like my doctor said, if they don't work when you put them on don't except them. Today, I have decided to go elsewhere from now on. I won't spend money with people I'm not satisfied with. Sadly it makes Costco not worth the ride for shopping. I would ask the long wait isn't worth the nonsense. I'm sorry it's changed.
Very disorganized at this location and not too keen on customer relations. Old ticker tape check in policy for service though they gladly let a person walk right up in front of people without a ticket, then give they give us the wave off if we point out deadbeat not in line, no ticket. Use the Naples location, they are better set up to provide the service you need. Dont know who was supervisor on duty was. We do not recommend this optical department.
Great doctor and great center. Honest, trustworthy, helpful, and worth the money. I was previously lied to by a different eye doctor elsewhere who told me I HAD to wear glasses in order to drive- by law. The eye doctor here at Costco vision center told me that although it wouldn’t hurt for me to get glasses I don’t need them to drive- in accordance with Florida law). I will be coming back because I know I can trust them.
