Review is for Paradise Valley optical only. Wow. SO TERRIBLE. I've been going to Costco optical for years...but the Oak street Costco. THIS COSTCO? Run away! I bought 3 pairs of glasses-first they overcharged me by a hundred dollars and it wasn't easy to get it back. Then, one pair was incorrect and I couldn't see. Next, the second pair keeps breaking in an odd place on the frame-and not just once. So they tried to blame me by first accusing me of not keeping them in the case-then, when that was disproved, they said that I was breaking them myself with a reaction to the metal that the frame was made with. AND they feel that it's MY fault. So they sell some cheap, knockoff glasses frame and then blame the customer? Never mind that I've been buying glasses for YEARS without a complaint or return and this time, I've had to have a frame replaced TWICE. None of my other glasses have been a problem, so it's my fault? COSTCO HAS LOST MY BUSINESS-to think of it, why am I paying them to shop there? I only have my Costco membership in prefer to be treated well as a customer. I'm DONE.

If I could give Scottsdale Costco vision center 0 stars I would! But I got good, solid customer service at the Paradise Valley Mall location more than once. My first RX glasses made here at the Paradise Valley Mall location. I saw my own doctor and he did the eye exam. They don’t have a large selection of frames if you have a small face. In fact they had few styles to choose from and had to look at the children’s frames. Most frame sizes were 52+. The prescription they made for me was OK. They’ll allow one return if not happy with the frames. The turnaround time was faster than I expected to receive the prescription eyeglasses back. The following year however I went to the Scottsdale location and received terrible service from start to finish! They bounced between me and other customers and wouldn’t just take dedicated time to help me pick out my frames and pay for them. They copped a real bad attitude when I came back to pick up my progressives and I couldn’t see out of them. There was so much magnification in such a large part of the lenses that there was no way I could wear them so I had to return them or reject them right on the spot. On top of that they also overcharged me by more than $100 quoting me almost double of what Paradise Valley had quoted me and paid for the previous year. . The customer service person helping me was extremely unprofessional, unhelpful and unjustifiably RUDE. However the following year I thought that I would give them a second chance. After taking more than 2 hours of time out of my work day and picking out a pair of frames the employee suddenly tells me of their DISCRIMINATORY POLICY AGAINST ME. Unlike everyone else who may use Costco’s 90-day Customer Satisfaction Guarantee Return Policy I must agree NOT To RETURN the glasses because their return policy does NOT extend to people with DISABILITIES, like me! So not only does the Scottsdale Costco charge their customers more for the same items purchased at other Costco’s they also practice DISCRIMINATORY and UNFAIR and ARBITRARY POLICIES AGAINST PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. Beware: if you have a disability that is INVISIBLE like mine you may risk being discriminated against. There’s obviously no oversight, allowing employees to rewrite Costco’s public and well known return policies to satisfy the very UNKIND, insensitive and egotistical needs of their employees.
After almost 2 hours trying at Costco Optical PV , my 13 yr old learned how to use contact lenses! Thankful for the patience of Tawny and Angie there for not giving up. They were so helpful.
Great experience. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The equipment and testing they did were all top notch and updated much more than my last experience at another Costco. Dr. Perkins was also excellant and helped improve my prescription before i spent several hundred on new progressive lens glasses.
I would like to give 0 stars. Customer service is bad . I bought 1pair of glasses. 1 week screwed loose so I went to there and I asked for fix. She said I have to pay . I tell her I bought 1week ago and I still have screw and just put it . She keeps saying she wants to charge. I don’t recommend
