Excel Vision

Wow. This place is a JOKE. I came in with my son so we could both get eye exams and glasses. My son did not need a prescription but he got blue light glasses, which were fine. I got a prescription for contacts and for reading glasses. Total for our exams and two pairs of glasses was almost $1000. After leaving, I wore the contacts they gave me but the prescription was not right. I could not see so I called them back to have another appointment to see if they could fix the contact prescription. When I went back in, they told me that my left eye had miraculously healed itself, and now I don’t need a contact in my left eye and they gave me a new prescription for only my right eye. I thought this was extremely weird, but I went along with it. I tried out the new contact they gave me for only my right eye. This proved to not work as I had no depth perception with only one contact in and I could not see out of my left eye (which obviously had not “self-healed”). When my glasses finally came in, those were also wrong. The prescription was off. I could not see out of them. They told me to wear them for a few days to get used to them. No luck. So I made another appointment to come back to have them fixed. They fixed them for a second time and when I got the glasses back for the 3rd time, the prescription was so strong I couldn’t read anything with them. They actually made my vision worse. She told me to take them and wear them for a few days to get used to them. I called them back for a third time to try to come in and get everything fixed but when I came back in, they told me I would have to pay for another eye exam to fix the mistakes they made. This is outrageous. As a business owner myself, I could not imagine messing up this badly with a customer and then requireing them to double pay me in order to fix the mistake. The man at the glasses counter was incredible kind and helpful and so were the receptionists but the doctors have no clue what they are doing and their business practices as a whole are bad. Save yourself $1,000 and 3 trips, don’t go here. It’s been months…I am out $1,000 and I still can’t see. Fail.

We have had great experiences with Nuvision Centers - Excel! Our entire family has gone here for a couple years. The doctors are very thorough with their exams and are excellent at explaining everything! They patiently and thoroughly answered all our questions. They are very patient with their initial testing, which is much appreciated! And as excellent as the exam is, the process of picking out our glasses is even better! There is a large selection of glasses to choose from and Jeff and Morgan are awesome! They are able to help guide you to find glasses that fit your face well. And they are also super personable, making the glasses selection process a fun one! I wholeheartedly recommend Nuvision!

Been going to nuvision from several years and their service and doctors are great. Flexible appointments, staff and doctors are super friendly. The provide all kind of options to let you choose and not pushy at all. Doctor Allison Wooten is by far the best I have been to. She is friendly, listens and give the best treatment options. Very thorough with her diagnosis.

The entire team took the time to educate us, answer all our questions, and guide us through the process with such patience and care. Their customer service is truly next level—so helpful, so responsive, and so kind. They made the entire experience completely seamless, and most importantly, they were incredibly kind and so helpful.
