Costco Optical

For years I bought glasses elsewhere and can only kick myself….as always, best to get everything you can at Costco. You can even get your prescriptions here! See photos for more on that--photos of signs, hours, etc. of the Optician on premises. One time when I was getting my glasses they initiated finding out that I had insurance coverage, which I hadn’t even thought of. When they’re not too crowded I stop by for what I call a ‘tune-up’. They clean, tighten, adjust, etc., stretching out the life, love and usefulness of this vital part of my life!! And the opticians they arrange have been awesome!! The current one has been there at least 6 years. There’s no reason to go elsewhere! As always, Costco will take care of you and your family! Just don’t forget to take a number 😜

We were very impressed by the professionalism and exceptional customer care at the Costco Optical Department in Mountain View. Rocky and Raj went above and beyond to expedite the delivery of prescription glasses for my daughter following her eye surgery. Their compassion and dedication made a huge difference, and we truly appreciate their outstanding service.

The times I’ve been there, I’ve received outstanding service . I had to return some frames that were within warranty and they have made the exchange process easy.

I had a disappointing experience at this Costco Optical location. The staff appeared inexperienced and made an error by entering the wrong phone number on my order. When I called to check the shipping status of my contact lenses, I encountered poor customer service. I was placed on hold for 10 minutes, and initially I was told that my lenses had arrived—only for the staff to later correct themselves and change the expected arrival date. The inconsistency and lack of professionalism made the process frustrating. While the pricing is competitive, I would recommend considering a different Costco location for better service.

Reasonable price, patient and nice staff. Wait time could be long, presumably because staff took time to serve each customer.
