My experience purchasing two progressive ... pairs of glasses at Mission Valley Costco exceeded my expectations. Gloria demonstrated exceptional expertise and helpfulness in assisting me in selecting frames that would enhance my features and fit my face and stronger prescription well. She suggested a different style of frame that I wouldn't have considered otherwise, which turned out to be more comfortable and suited my face better. Her extensive experience and helpfulness were truly impressive. The prices were far more competitive than those at any optical boutique I've visited in the past. I was 15 minutes late and was told I would have to wait to be saw with out any update on when. I gusss I just have to wait around for a undisclosed amount of time to maybe be seen. Very subpar experience during my visit with the younger front desk woman in the chair . She was not polite, she was wearing a tank top with straps so thin you could see her bra and her hair was greasy and unbrushed. Felt very unprofessional. I also felt like the older front desk woman was way more helpful and curdious with the people.

Staff deliberately ignore you and provide no guidance to que in line for inquiries, appointments etc. But instead expect on you to find the small sign with a qr code to sign up for the que which is ridiculously long. Its a very poor system structure. These people could care less about you or youre needs. I wouldn't bother wasting any time here unless you are already aware and have time to kill going shopping

In general, I am not a fan of the optical department for reasons mentioned. But I want to give a huge shout out to Gloria for her kindness and grace. She always takes good care of me. Thank you Gloria.

Great experience. First time getting fitted for contacts, and Dr. Nguyen and the front staff were so nice and gentle. They guided me and explained the process of contacts. Great customer service.
