I need to be honest with myself before I’m honest with you: I do not have a Costco problem, I have a Costco relationship, and it is functioning extremely well for both parties. I came in years ago to feed a family of four at a price that wouldn’t require a second job. Mission accomplished. The bulk food situation alone has fundamentally changed how I think about emergency preparedness. Then it got out of hand, but in the best way. I bought a Gorilla tow-behind wheelbarrow for the yard that I did not know I needed until the exact moment I saw it, at which point it became essential to my survival. I also bought a cedar gazebo, it had to build the entire thing myself, no shortcuts, just me, a manual, and quiet rage at 2am on a Saturday — and it came out incredible. Genuinely one of the better builds I’ve done, and Costco sold it to me in a box the size of a refrigerator for less than I’d pay a contractor to think about it. Here’s the part that actually matters: this store has made my life measurably better. Better food, better prices, better gear, less stress about feeding my family. Is it a little insane that one store has this much control over my household infrastructure? Yes. Am I going to do anything about it? Absolutely not.

All the meat at Costco is really good. The quality is consistently high across beef, chicken, pork, and seafood. Everything looks fresh, well cut, and carefully packaged, which makes shopping easy and reliable. The meat cooks beautifully and tastes great, whether you’re grilling steaks, roasting chicken, or meal-prepping for the week. Portions are generous and the value for the price is hard to beat, especially for the quality you’re getting. Dependable, fresh, and excellent quality every time—Costco is my go-to place for meat. Highly recommended.

the mgmt at this Costco do not care for their employees or the customers at the food court, you’ll more than likely wait 15-20 minutes because either it’s staffed with 1 maybe 2 people, or they let people order massive amounts of food. To get a refund, just walk up to the customer service desk and let them know that your order was skipped and you need to leave. This is the only saving grace.
