Found a decent frame here, even though their selection is limited. During the fitting process I asked the attendant about giving me a larger reading portion in my Progressive order. He said it would be no problem. The glasses only took a few days to come in. I wore them over the weekend and felt something was wrong. The reading section was very small and off center. I went back expecting them to send my new glasses out to be adjusted or reground, but that didn't happen. The attendant bent the nose pads every which way, trying to fix my problem. In the end it didn't matter because the reading portion was still too short. He said that sending them out wouldn't fix that. The reading portion couldn't be adjusted. I asked for my money back. Just be aware there is a reason why glasses are cheap here. When you order new glasses, you'll get whatever they give, and no special requests are possible.

First I had to get an Exam at BJs near where I work due to one at Costco being months out, but wanted to at least get my frames at Costco as I do my real shopping at this location. Found the glasses I liked out of the small selection, took a number and waited 11/2 hours with my four year old trying to keep her happy. Was ten feet from the counter waiting, next thing I know they skipped through the numbers without calling anyone. They were ignoring their own system and just randomly picking people. And each person was like a 1/2 hour to hour each with picking out glasses getting fitted placing order. Have been a member for many years and this was my first and last experience wasting my time with their “optical department”. Went to LensCrafters up the road and picked out frames from a much better selection at comparable price and was completed and out the door in 15 mi r

Ive been purchasing my glasses at Costco for about 8 years now and have always had great customer service. I have an issue with my eyesight whereas I basically see with one eye. So it took a few changes to make everything perfect and on top of that my eye doctors technician made my script wrong so once that was corrected VOILA my glasses were perfect. No extra charge even know it was not their fault. In short the the Costco Vision Team works well together to ensure a very satisfied customer. Put your trust in this team you won't be sorry.

I broke my only pair of reading glasses, my eye doc stopped taking my vision insurance, and then my insurance wouldn’t pay for new glasses until December anyway (it was March when they irreparably broke). Ugh. What’s a reader to do with 8 months of not being able to read anything?? (Cheaters don’t work for this girl, not for the long term.) Well, I gave Costco Vision a call! The man who answered the phone and set up my appointment was so nice and so helpful. He assured me that they have safety protocols in place (I’m immunocompromised) and even offered a spot as the first patient of the day. Grateful, I took it. My experience from checking in for exam to leaving with my prescription was smooth, seamless, and excellent. Everything was freshly cleaned and I felt completely comfortable and safe. All masks on, no problems whatsoever with communication, and a thorough eye exam by a qualified, caring, personable doctor of optometry. I came out of the doctor’s office very satisfied with everything from treatment to cost, and went on to select some frames just outside her door. Thank you so much!! Can’t wait to be able to really read again! :)

I had a great experience with my eye exam! The staff was friendly, professional, and made the whole process easy and comfortable. Everything was explained clearly, and I left feeling confident about my eye health. Highly recommend!
