Hands down the best Costco I have ever been to. I drive 40 mins to an hr just to go here, when the nearest Costco is just 15 mins away. I like this place because it is well stocked, people are very helpful, and I know that if I'm looking for something thats not available in any of the other six metro Atlanta Costcos, my best chance to find it is here, since their attention to stocking the depleted items even in real time is exceptional. And, I know I'll be getting through the checkout lines in timely minutes, due to their faster and most efficient checkout line management. Also it's one of the newer Costcos, meaning it's more spacious, better planned, better designed, and has plenty of parking, adjusted to the anticipated traffic in the recent years. Which means there is a room for everyone to shop, even right before holidays. This to me is a game changer, because in any other Costco, this is the time when you have to stand in line for many minutes to just turn into the Costco lane, and be in the back of the store to stand in very long checkout lines and come in the way of the shoppers for exorbitant amount of time, plus you would have half cart empty if you want after 4 pm because depleted items might not be stocked for the same day again. For someone like me whose happiest place on earth is Costco, and my trip to any city in any state has a definite Costco visit, this Costco to me is the luxurious and most enjoyable Costco experience I have had so far. Also the area it's located in -- West McDonough across the 75, and Hampton, is a very family friendly, happening and cute place. If I could move down here, I would in a heartbeat, probably get a home within short driving distance to this store visit this store more often.

Not sure what’s changed at Costco but they recently changed the checkout process to only one cashier and new self checkout. Self checkout is fine but the lines do not have a scanner, employees are frustrated and the checkout lanes are very slow. Not to mention the employee’s gossiping about other customers. We usually really enjoy Costco but this was not a good experience.

When this Costco first opened it was great. Now it’s a constant bottle neck. One person checking receipts upon exit. They moved to self checkout and now it’s super long lines for the regular check out. The flow is awful.

I was so excited when the Costco opened on Jodeco Road in McDonough. In the past, I traveled to Cumberland Mall in North Atlanta and it was not convenient. Costco has a fantastic selection of appliances, TVs, dry goods, perishable foods and even flowers. They also offer a vision center, hearing center, pharmacy and a food court that offers smoothies, soft drinks, hotdogs, salads and pizza. The staff is consistently helpful and although it’s busy the team there is efficient in getting people in and out. One of the things that I specifically like about Costco is that they have specialty items like European shortbread cookies and treats around the holidays, sales on household items that are unique and these items come in periodically which makes shopping a bit more interesting. Definitely worth the trip!

I only went to the Fuel Service center. I heard a lot about this Costco so while in Mcdonough I stopped by. Just want to see how it compares to Brookhaven location. The Fuel Station is wider but it doesn't have as many lanes as Brookhaven but it was nice, clean and efficient. Next time I'm out there I'll go inside .
