Costco Optical

While visiting Kauai, I needed new contacts. They were quick to get me an appointment the same day I called. The doctor is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me so well. His receptionist is kind, friendly, and welcoming. I wish I lived on the island so he could be my regular doctor! The next time I visit Kauai I will be sure to stop by. I feel as though I have made new friends! Definitely go to Costco optometry for your eye needs!

I saw Dr Cheung and his assistant Aleishea last year while I was on vacation. I needed to be seen urgently and they were able to accommodate me and fit me in for an exam even though they had a fully booked schedule. Seriously they are amazing there! I live in Florida but if I lived in Kauai I would 100% see them yearly. Such great bedside manner, smart, friendly. You should go see them if you live in Kauai, you will not regret it!

They saved my husbands behind while we were there on vacation recently. He made the not-so-wise decision to go in the ocean with his glasses on. He got taken out by a wave while body boarding. His glasses got knocked off and we couldn’t find them in the water. With no backups and the majority of our trip still to go, we contacted several places to try to get him glasses or contacts to get by. We couldn’t get ahold of anyone via phone and decided to drive to Costco to see if they could help him. They were able to fit him in between other appointments and got him fitted and trained with contacts, which he had never worn before. Things worked out and we were all able to enjoy the rest of our trip thanks to them.

I needed an eye exam very bad for a time sensitive matter and when no other doctor would see me or even try to help , Aleishea made it happen! They squeezed me in to help me out and I’m so thankful. Both her and Dr.Cheung are amazing people. Such a wonderful experience meeting them both and the world needs more people like both of them! Very professional and kind hearted people , highly recommend!!

Aloha 🌺 Dr Cheung is the best eye Doctor on Kauai, he’s friendly and kind and really cares for his patients. I’m blessed to have him for my eye Doctor. Aleishea his assistant is the most nicest eye assistant on Kauai. Her customer service is profound. Thank you 🙏 so much.
