I went to Costco today and there was this one employee who was handing out free samples of these fruit popsicle things and she made my day. She has such a sweet soul and you can see her put so much effort into her job and making sure kids are safe and entertained and also that the product is well promoted. It warmed my heart to see someone just have so much fun being nice to people. Only reason I gave this 4 stars is that I wish some of the other people giving out samples were like that :)

This location is a fairly average Costco, which is not a bad thing at all. This one is my go-to because it tends to be less crowded than the one in Bolingbrook and the one on Route 59.

Staff gave wrong information after refund After completing my refund today, the staff member at the refund desk told me I had to go back to the entrance to re-enter the store. However, the sign on the exit door clearly states that refunds are an exception — meaning customers can enter directly after a refund. The refund staff did not know their own store’s policy. When I pointed this out, they refused to apologize. Very frustrating and disappointing experience. I expected better from Costco.

Shopped here a few times since moving into the area. One time I picked up some pepperoni. When I was checking out the gentlemen bagging noticed the double bag was full and I mean full of mold! Luckily he noticed it and was kind enough to go and get me another one. I truly appreciate his kindness. Second time I purchased avacados. When I got home they were overripe and my finger went right through it. I called and was told to throw them out and bring my receipt next time I come in and I would be reimbursed. Hopefully I won't have a problem when I go back. Maybe the stockers should check the stock better before replacing old stock. But all and all I think once I get comfortable with the layout of the store I will be happy with it.

I was thinking for a few days if I have to write this review for the tire centre at this location. A review also helps the stores or businesses to know their customers’ experiences and learn about the ways to improve themselves and deliver better quality services to attract and retain customers. I purchased tires and got them installed. Great customer interactions but the reps assume that people will always purchase 4 tires. If they are trained technicians, they must check and give recommendations as well. What made me write herein the first place was the sloppy way they handled the service. The vehicles cost 10s of thousands of dollars and every owner treats their vehicles with utmost care. After the service, when I got my keys back, it was so greasy that I thought that they might have dropped it on the floor. When I opened my vehicle, I was shocked to find the steering wheel was covered with dirt and grease! Even a quick oil change shops know how to handle the vehicles. Why can’t Costco insisted on their tech crews on the basic steps of working with customers’ costly vehicles? I hope the corporate leaders take note of this and correct this careless behavior immediately. I would not complain about the people who worked on the service but the people responsible to train them did a very, very sloppy job. It cannot be excused.
