This will be kind of a different review, but will show the customer service! I stopped in at around 2pm, to get dog-food and some oranges, went to self-checkout, the attendant was very sweet (and NOT overbearing! :)). It was a quick trip. About 2 minutes after getting to my next stop, I received a voicemail that said ‘they were calling from Costco, and they had things I’d be greatly interested in’… very confused and panicked, I drove back to the store. I realized then, I didn’t have my Membership Card (I assumed this was “the thing”), the lady at the door was so kind, I explained the situation, she took me over to the front desk. Everyone immediately jumped into action, trying to figure out what “things” they had for me. They all listened to the voicemail, we were all giggling, but weirded out, it was a mystery! Turns out, ALL of my most important cards (I.D., debit, Goodwill rewards haha) had fallen out of my purse, they got stuck in a couple $ bills. Jessie brought all my things to me in a Ziploc bag, all I could do was thank them… and hide my face in my hands. The voicemail was vague on purpose for security. Thank you, Darlene (she’s who called), and Jessie (…and the other 5 people at customer service who helped!!). I was so worried walking in, but they couldn’t have been more personable, helpful, funny, and sweet. I’m so grateful someone found my items, for the store’s urgency to inform me and resolve everything so quickly.

The staff are great, the return policy is so accommodating and helpful, BUT my main complaint is that this Costco doesn't get the nice items you'll find at the warehouses in Columbia and Arundel Mills -- not just name brand items, but Kirkland items, too. If you want anything nice, it's not going to be at this warehouse. Some recent examples: a really nice Hunter rain jacket, mango salmon ceviche, and Kirkland double creme brie cheese. (All of those, btw, easily found at Columbia and Arundel Mills.)

I didnt realize until today that with the executive plan you have access to an earlier opening time than the standard plan. The store is less crowded and we avoided the sometimes long checkout lines...definitely worth it.
