Costco Optical

Dr. Carolyn Scott was excellent. She spent a lot of time with me, talked me through the images from my eye scans, explaining things other eye doctors had never done for me, and helped me find the right prescription. (My previous prescription was apparently much too strong!) Her bedside manner is fantastic. I was surprised to receive such a high level of quality of care from someone at Costco. I recommended her to my husband, and he also had a very positive experience. We will go back annually. Thank you Dr. Scott!

William was absolutely horrible. My glasses are completely unusable at a computer. He proceeded to tell me that computer is too close. It was a full arms length away and I even put it further away and still can not see unless I tilt my head all the way back. I also can't see out of them because my excessivelshort eyelashes hit the lenses and dirty they instantly. His answer was to shrug his shoulders and say take them home or get a refund. When I said shrugging at me when I am talking about my eyes wasn't appropriate His responses was well those are your options. I am thinking trying to find an adjustment for me so I can see and work is the option that should have been offered.

I was in a terrible jam having forgotten my contact lenses while away. Fortunately, Serena Falzone, was able to help me. She coordinated having my prescription faxed and supplied with contact lenses to use preventing me from not being able to see adequately all weekend. She was very professional and caring while also multitasking with other customers. Thank you Ms. Falzone.

Im giving 2 stars because the Doctor was fantastiic but thats it. I had two pair of frames that needed to be filled. They didnt want to accept them, said the lab will only work on frames in pristine condition. I explained i wouldnt be purchasing new frames as mine were designer and that I would go elsewhere with the script and get them filled. Then she was able to accept them...........wont be returning...shame too because I really like the Doctor but Costco policy not so much

The doctor is very knowledgeable and gave me a really thorough exam. Plus, even though she didn't take my insurance, the cost was low enough that it was fully covered by the out of network allowance. Highly recommend!
